Inconsistent quality of food. Some day, the food is satisfactory while other days, it’s absolute dog water. Attitude of particular staff in the kitchen is also quite bad. Serving portion are small for the price they charge.

For restaurant prices I would expect food that isn't consistently horrible. Every single time I walk in here I have a worse experience than the time before. They never cease to amaze me with their limits of how low they can go. If I could give 0 stars I would. But the waffles are decent

What a waste of my meal plan. I've never eaten food so repulsive, so nasty. A potato can perform better service; all they do is lay around and do nothing as just like the people that work there. Benefit of the potato is that it won't give you attitude. I'd rather eat grass or better yet starve than eat from Colmans. Better walk that 10 minutes to Davis in -30 than eat cat food.

If I could make this review 0 stars, I would. First off, the food here is bad. Either its undercooked, overcooked or cold. It’s honestly a gamble at this point! The prices you pay here do not reflect the quality! And its not even just that that’s bad. The service is too. I once asked them for a little bit of parsley, and with the amounts of parsley they added, I felt like I was doing the cinnamon challenge.I also wasn’t able to order one night, even though I had arrived during their business hours! They legitimately said that it was too late for that. This wouldn’t be the end of the world if I wasn’t a rez student and had no other means of eating. (IK I could just order UberEats or smth but I pay so much for this I should be able to have my grilled chicken wrap :( especially if they are still open).Overall, extremely disappointed. (Do not come here unless absolutely necessary.)

Colman Commons is not worth my $2700+ meal plan, I'd rather be using that money for actual edible food + groceries. The prices in Colman Commons are higher than if I were to buy groceries weekly. Sure, it's convenient how close it is to campus residence, but seeing my friends in other schools get high-quality food AND food service is disappointing. Managers at fast-food restaurants run their establishments better than Colman Commons. The workers ruin my day sometimes, although they are kind most of the time. Something that's telling is the fact the quality of my food is different each day, there is clearly an issue in establishing strict standards amongst the workers in making certain food or following certain regulations. Why am I getting a completely different version of a food item with the same ingredients on different days because of different workers and their personal standards? Besides that, I have seen the workers violate food regulations. E.g., touching their nose and then food, putting prongs for vegetable items in meat items, and not washing their hands as often as they should. Sure they use gloves but clean hands are better than gloves (anyone who has been in food service knows that). It seems they value convenience over quality. Even then, I've seen workers get extremely stressed because they don't have an appropriate or convenient way of tracking orders during rushes or overall methods of organization. I don't like having to search my food for hair or unidentified objects. People only eat here because they have to. You may also get food poisoning from the lack of properly cooked food. Most of the diverse foods" they have are a joke to the cultures they're trying to imitate. The only things I have ever enjoyed here were packaged cookies

Unbelievably disappointing. The food at this place is a letdown and incredibly expensive. They give you a choice between overcooked, undercooked, or fossilized. Being leaders of the food industry, they fulfill all three at once. The closing hours are also inaccurate, because the stated closing times are actually when the employees leave, not when the place stops serving the undesirable leftovers. Additionally, the workers cannot understand what customers are asking for. I'll attribute this to having to serve such disappointing food at exorbitant prices, although it could be improved. This place needs to lower their prices and stick to simpler foods, like fried eggs or oatmeal. They cannot cook plain white rice past the point of gravel"

You'd think they'd give quality food for item's that are $30 dollars there. Nope, you can buy the same thing but better for 1/5th the price somewhere else. The only affordable food option there is water from the water fountain.Other than that, the lines are long, employees are inexperienced and the place is a mess. It feels like a prison cafeteria except you pay a lot to eat there.I rather eat instant noodles than eat here.

The food is honestly ok, but when you are hungry after a long day, they give you 25$ for a meal (minimum). Don't suggest it, eat somewhere else

Bought tea from here, it spilled and i got a blistering burn which still is healing after three weeks. I bought a burger and it was bright red, I thought it was fine because it was a vegan burger (really tasted like meat though but was thicker than their meat burgers so not sure, they have given me a beef burger instead of bean on several occasions so wouldn't be surprised) and got really sick after, not sure the cause.If you don't want to take an exam, eat here they will make sure you die.
