If you’re looking for halal ribs, brisket burgers, steaks, look no further. We tried their brisket burger, steak and salad and loved them all! The service is quick and the servers were very helpful. Would definately recommend this place

Truly phenomenal food. I got the Nashville chicken sandwich, and my friend got the birria tacos and they were both extremely tasty. These guys did not skimp on the chicken and provided and large cutlet of meat. I will definitely be going back for another round and bringing my family here.As for the atmosphere, it was quaint, modern and chic. We were seated right away, even though it was a busy time. The servers were lovely and hospitable and checked on us frequently.

Really good food today. I asked my server to slice up the brisket a little thinner than usual and they obliged. Great service as well. We had the Nashville hot sandwich, brisket and ribs. The first two items really stood out. Will be coming back soon

I visited from Edmonton and found this place. The server greeted us immediately and was enthusiastic to serve us. The place is certified halal, which is awesome as it can get. The BBQ platter we got was amazing. The meat melted off the bones. The brisket was really tender and seasoned with pepper just right. Excellent experience.

Great food, great atmosphere. First time trying Max Ox and it did not disappoint. We tried the chicken wings and quarter chicken dinner with a side of corn bread, mac and cheese and an order of shishito peppers and cassava fries. At first the portions looked small, but the food was quite filling. We could tell that the servers were new and in training, so they're working on that. The owner rang up our bill and was quite friendly, courteous and thanked us for choosing his restaurant. I would definitely recommend Max Ox to friends and family and will be back for more delicious food.

Mad Ox is a fantastic choice for a delightful halal dining experience. The ambiance is captivating, setting the stage for a memorable evening. We opted for the backyard BBQ platter, Birria Tacos with Smokey Consomme and Smokey Wings. It was a carnivore's delight, the meat was succulent, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The backribs were particularly noteworthy, tender and packed with richness. The wings had a delightful crispy texture on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. The sweet glaze added a touch of sweetness that complemented the savory flavors perfectly. Although the tacos were slightly oily, they were delicious, especially when paired with the spicy consomme. All in all, Mad Ox is a superb venue for a family dinner.

Food has been amazing from them. You could taste the smoke coming out of the food so you know that they actually smoke their meat properly. Their different types of sauces are delicious as well. We got the Mad Platter with waffle fries this time. Intentionally ordered way more than we could eat so that we could have leftovers for another meal. Service is always great as well.

I went here with my family a week ago. I ordered the Brazilian tri tip and I was pleasantly surprised. The steak was perfect and the salad was on point. I liked the macaroni and cheese. The server was really friendly and funny. We had a really fun time. Everyone with me enjoyed their food.

Amazing food. The most delicious meat ever. Ordered an angus brisket and birria taco. It was for my birthday dinner. Loved the experience. And it wasn't too expensive either. Would definitely revisit. Highly recommended.
