Only drawback is people not obeying the rules.There is to be no pets on the beach yet people bring there dogs to the beach. Sadly the park lacks enough staff to enforce this rule. Perhaps better signage would help.Then I feel like the bad guy , because I don't like your drooling slobbering animal .

Peaceful place, lots of campground and picnic areas. Each campground has its own table and stool, grill and power and sockets. Great place for overnight and camping.

Went there by mistake. Couldn't find our friends - they were at the other side of the lake. Walked along the beach for an hour - not bad, but not as nice as Wasketeena or Sandy Bay.

One of the best beaches at Candle Lake. Large and sandy. Dog friendly at the far south end.

The beach is nice! The campsites and bathrooms are all clean and well maintained. Firewood is free.
