After years of camping at Squakum and Chehalis, we came across Kilby campground. There are a few FCFS sites but the others can be rented for RV and / or tents (they vary in size). Features: well maintained, outhouses, actual spots to put your garbage and recycling, option of beach front or bush side, and there are fire pits that can be used when there are no fire bans.

Great campsite. Well run by the operators.Beautiful view of the river and nice beach for kids and adults. No unleashed dogs allowed. It was quite windy the 2 days we stayed. Pit toilets were as good as those get. There is water from a pump. No showers. My only wish was the sites were further apart but it was fine and all campers made it work.

Long clean Beach for a river. Camping and camper spots Boat launch with 12 boat trailer spots.Great fishing if u know how. Swimming good for a river butBe super careful, it's a river so undertow and current . Don't go outIn current .... Drowning is a real danger. There are a dozen plus nice campsites right on the beachfront of Harrison Bay. The water height varies during the year. May 2023 has the boat launch temporarily closed due to high water. Virtually no beach area. Sandbags along the low spots. A picturesque campsite all year round. Enjoy!

Great camping beach side, friendly staff. Very windy, but the early morning is always calm and good for fishing. Love it here!

Well kept, clean campground. Hosts were very friendly. Great spots along the river and huge sandy beaches. Train tracks and bridge nearby and lots of scenic views. Trains don't whistle in the area so they area barely noticable.

Great little park not too far from the city. They've added new concrete tables and what looks like a few more camping spots with improved fire rings, at least the sites near the entrance. One of the pics shows two staff guys who were carefully sweeping gravel off the table pads and washing the tops of all the tables!Be forewarned trains go by regularly but aren't that bad. The biggest surprise was the wind. We were here once before and it was fine, bad timing maybe. A little tree frog was flung from it's perch during the wind so we put it close to grass and trees on the calmer side. The beach is lovely and has a boat launch at the day use end with a fair bit of parking. Note, it is a river, things will float away at some point. My improvement requests would be to plant a few small trees/shrubs between the sites for more privacy, because they're set fairly close together, and update the outhouses at some point. They're not the worst I've seen but given they already have water, they could maybe install those flushable outhouses one day.Considering half these sites were flooded not long ago, it looks great and staff are around daily to get garbage and tidy up; very nice when I chatted to them as well.

Nice, scenic, tranquil riverside park with campsites and a boat launch. Be careful however, the park is prone to flooding during the spring freshet season, usually around late May- early June. Currently a new shelter structure is being built in the park.Just outside the park is the historic site, housed inside the old general store from the early 20th century.

It's a very quiet and secluded place, but the noise from the trains coming and going on the nearby train tracks is really loud, so I don't recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet camping!
