We had David and Guen do our engagement and wedding photography this past weekend in Niagara on the Lake and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were personable and easygoing (which made the photos so much fun to do), while also being professional and accommodating to the requests we had. We got a sneak peek at some of our photos before the wedding was even over and they are amazing! We cannot wait to see the rest! Thank you both so much!

David and Guen were absolutely awesome to work with! Our wedding photos turned out beautiful, and the two of them are so fun to be around, they make a great pair. We also appreciated their flexibility and quick turnaround time. We would definitely recommend them for any event!

I got hassled by Haskells! If I could give 0 stars I would! I hired Haskells in November 2022 for my wedding in October 2023. During our first conversation I told them how important communication is to me and also how we were thinking of a winter engagement photo session. My future husband I and are really busy people so our final phone call we talked about deposits and contacts etc but however I was not home at the time so I offered to send them the deposit before signing since I was worried I would lose my spot (like any bride would be) then get to the contract when we had the chance. I got home that night and filled out the contract for my half and placed it on my future husbands desk where he then signed it and placed it in the scanner for me in the morning.Fast forward to January, right after the holidays I attempted to call Haskells and set up and engagement shoot. I left a voicemail and received no answer from them. So I tried again 2 weeks later and again nothing. Finally while moving stuff around I noticed that our contact was still sitting in the scanner so I messaged them on wedding wire (which was our original form of communication) asking if I ever sent it. That was during the first week of February. Again no answer. So I called a week later and left another voicemail. Again no answer.Finally after 2 weeks since the last voicemail I left I decided to pull the plug on them and go with someone else. Since they were my future husbands first choice and not mine, this decision was a no brainer at this point. So I called them first and when I was sent to voicemail again I left them a message explaining everything and stated since there was no official contract between and absolutely no communication from their side, there is no reason for them not to refund my deposit back to me. Suddenly the next day I received a reply on wedding wire. We had back and forth communication for a while. Then once I mentioned returning my deposit again, they stopped replying.Today (now two days later) I get woken to a phone call by them being very passive aggressive repeating everything I said in my previous messages and voicemails, claiming I never contacted them before the last two phone calls and blaming the whole situation on the fact they were shooting a wedding in Mexico last week on the lack of communication. I was told “since I decided to go another direction because they didn’t get back to me in a weeks time during their trip to Mexico, I’m not getting my deposit back. Since as stated in the contract, it’s a non refundable deposit.”They completely disregard that fact that I’ve been attempting to contact them for 2 months now, rather they got my voicemails or not. Was very rude to me with no apology whatsoever. And had the nerve to say to me “I don’t know what you want me to do here” during our phone call after having me almost in tears because they couldn’t stomach taking responsibility for their actions.

David and Guen are absolutely amazing. Not only did they take exceptional and beautiful wedding photos, they also made the whole experience enjoyable, engaging and most importantly, fun! On an amazing (but stressful!) day, they were able to keep us laughing and enjoying our time together, creating memories and photos that will last. Their service is one of a kind and we will highly recommend them to everyone! Thank you so much!

Such great people to work with . Very kind and considerate and just overall amazing . . Final pictures really made me feel like I was a piece of art . . Such a fun time and an amazing experience .Will definitely call Haskell for any future events .Thanks guys for being so open and friendly and kind hearted .

HelloI recently had photos completed through Hakell Photography, and was very impressed by the quality of work I received as well as the teams professionalism. I was on a tight timeline due to my photos needed for publication, and the turn around time was excellent. Being in the theatre business for many years, as well as being a professional voice over artists, I get to meet many photographers, and David Haskell and his team were top shelf. He has been the leader in photography in the Niagara Region for many years. Reading these other post does not seem to fit his quality of many years in the industry as well as the experience I have received. I chose David Haskell for my work needed because he is known as one of the best. We all view different experiences in our own ways based on past experiences and comfort levels, yet I certainly cannot agree with the other posts and will refer Haskell Photography to my co workers and customers every time. I guess you cannot please all of the people all of time....yet my experience was excellent from A-Z.

My cousin and I had our photos done by Haskell Photography at a charity event in support of Community Care. We were so happy with the photos, and it was great to have them as gifts to in time for Christmas! The experience itself was so much fun. We’ll definitely be hiring Haskell Photography in the future. Looking forward to our next shoot!

David, Guen, and the additional staff at Haskell Photography are an incredible group! They are friendly, helpful, and downright fun to work with. We have done both engagement and wedding photos with them, and the shots were fantastic! My husband and I are not very photogenic people, and somehow they managed to get countless shots that had us looking like models. Beyond photo quality, Haskell Photography also worked a COVID miracle for us. With so many guests unable to attend our wedding this fall, we elected to go for their pandemic package, which included a zoom call for up to 500 guests! From start to finish, our wedding was live streamed AND recorded for all of our guests. And the best part is we didn't have to manage a thing! They truly helped to make our day possible. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

David and his assistant were absolutely fantastic. For $1180 + tax they took our engagement photos and were with us for over 8 hours on our wedding day (from the ready rooms through to the cake cutting and beyond). While they were certainly a great deal, they were also truly amazing. The photographs are some of the best I have ever seen (all bias aside): David is a professional in every sense. He knows his business and will get amazing shots. The added bonus is how well he handles people. In the stress and commotion of the wedding he is calm and professional and makes sure that you have fun when taking the photos! It was not just a chore to get through, but a fun part of our day. I cannot recommend Haskell Photography highly enough. Book them early because they are worth it.
