We left the bank we dealt with and switched all our investments over to Dana Hicks at Edward Jones. We are soo happy we made that decision. Dana is the best and she is only a call a way if we have any question. If I had to give Dana a number to rate her by the chart wouldn’t go high enough.

Do not see how their high costs for clients can work well for avg. joe. They had charged like Hundred BUCKS commission cut per basic equity trade in past, sure its still high or much higher than industry competition. Door to door sales that they will use is like modern day snake oil sales man, which they almost promise that they will make you money by buying blue chip immemorial company or some old like strategy; yet they take a lot from you in high cuts, fees that come from hard work off your back.

I am currently transferring out from EJ. I have been with them a couple of years and while happy with my advisor, I am leaving because of the very high fees being charged every month.That brings me to the 2nd part of my gripe with EJ. They pro rate the monthly costs for the month that you are leaving, fair enough but it is about 95% of the total charge even though it is for only 12 days.I dont have a massive RRSP or TFSA ,with about 10 years left before retirement and I am looking at saving $30,000 between now and then in monthly charges alone by transferring. Thats considerable and should be taken into account for anyone considering using their services.With the amount I am able to invest each year generally it is added to what I have not looking" for new avenues

My financial advisor, Mike Nyznyk, also happens to be my long time tenant. When I didn't accept his financial plan, he stopped paying his rent 8 months ago and won't respond to any communication. I'm so thankful that I didn't go ahead and invest my life savings with Edward Jones or it's dead beat advisor.

Useless company. My first advisor was fired for some reason, 2nd one called me when she took over the account and I havent heard from her for about 5yrs. I'm now closing the account. Don't believe their marketing bs.

I am very upset about the lack of call back from my advisor. I only had one meeting with him two years ago ( in person). I started losing a lot of money from my investments in Dec. 2021 and I didn't get a call back from him until Feb. 22. At this time he said the markets were down but he said they would probably go back up soon. By the end of April I decided I had lost enough money so I tried to get the whole thing cancelled and then I ran into more problems re taxes. Very poor advise given and no contact from the advisor!

Do not under any circumstances use Edward Jones for your investments. I live in the US and my husband had previously lived in Canada and had his funds in Edward Jones. They provided me misinformation causing me to lose about $20,000 when I went to bring it over to the US. Long story short they admitted they misinformed me but do not wish to rectify the situation because they know it could cost me more to fight it. Shame on them for ripping off widows and others.Beware!

Terrible, I will neve mr deal with them again! After a $4,000 loss, decided to transfer my money back to my TFSA in my bank, this was in March 2022, finally after several calls and transfer papers from my bank , by June 21st, 2022 was it in my account. Yet they still had the nerve to charge me transfer fee’s!!! I want that refund

Happy client for 9 years. People commenting here about the lack of service -- so where are you investing? My advisor calls me regularly. His admin is first rate. Can't say that about any of the big banks. The banks don't want to talk to you if you have under $500K -- they send you to their KIOSK and away you go. High fees? Maybe you should try your luck with Questrade. Trade for next-to-nothing and hope you know what you're doing. Odds are you don't have a clue. Advisors from all firms charge fees because you're getting their knowledge and expertise. And you get what you pay for. Good luck.

I’ve thought for 3 years about whether or not I should leave this review. But the way I was ignored by an Edward Jones rep in Cambridge (Jessica Dalley) makes me absolutely angry every time I think about it. When I say I tried to change my mailing address with their office for four whole years, I mean emails, calls and voicemails. When I finally spoke with someone that updated my address two months ago, she was so nice but had the nerve to downplay ‘staff changes’ and tried to upsell an insurance review. I didn’t even hear a word from Jessica herself. Interestingly, they have their Google reviews turned off.There is no way that office should be allowed to practice.
