The staff at Russell Alexander are professional, caring and dedicated to negotiating the best resolution for their clients. The entire experience with the office of Russell Alexander from the very beginning exceeded my expectations. Golan and Christine,Golan was phenomenal to work with. As this was my first experience with the world of law, he was very understanding and was willing to take the time to make sure I felt confident in my comprehension of the everything along the way. I always felt Golan deeply cared about my well-being and quality of life; many times his advice ventured beyond the legal realm and into areas of my mental, physical, and emotional health. At a time where my divorce wasn’t the only major life circumstance on the table, I knew without a doubt that I could trust Golan to make sure this area of life was going to be taken care of. She’s always easy to connect with via phone or email, and as she’s often doing the majority of communication, it’s common to speak with her in less-than-optimal moments in the day. Christine was always considerate of my time, but also my overall life circumstances. She was sensitive and present every time I connected with her, even when she was calling for a simple question, I could always tell she was focused on caring for me in whatever way that looked like. Whether it was delivering news that’s challenging to hear, or confirming precise information, I always felt like a priority and that she was fully dedicated to all of my best interests. She heard all of the stories of my marriage and its fallout, and has an immense capacity for holding space and listening while also maintaining her professionalism and focus on her job. Even though she was asking personal questions in order to build a case, she’s so good at what she does that there were times I felt better just talking to her. Part of her job is to take your whole relationship and put it into point form notes, and not only does she do that accuracy and empathy, I was left with the bonus of feeling heard and validated. Christine is just all around a wonderful person, I’m so happy to have had her support throughout that time.

Dani Campbell is a very skilled Law Clerk. It is clear to me that she truly cares about the needs and goals of her clients and goes above and beyond to ensure clients feel respected and understood. For a few years, I have been following the articles and podcasts generated by Russell Alexander. While working for the Newfoundland Supreme Court, I often shared the information with colleagues. After my return to Ontario, I am still doing so, and I often refer clients to their website. I find the information provided clear, knowledgeable, straight forward and very useful. As an accredited family mediator, I obviously hope that people will avoid court if at all possible. However, insight and knowledge is power and Russell and his associates certainly provide it.
