This is one of the first repair businesses that pops up on Google and I was very impressed with the reviews that I read. I am thankful to say that I received very prompt attention for my dryer that I was told needed a new heating system. Thankfully Colin did have the part (although it is outdated) and my dryer is back to work warming and drying my clothes as I speak! I agree with all the five star reviews and highly recommend this local Island Business!

This company actually has someone who answers the phone! This is a big plus since 3 other companies never returned my phone call. Service was polite, professional and friendly. The serviceman said, I always start with the easy solution first." He did not need to go any further as a small piece of rubber had come off a spatula and was lodged in the drain. He made sure that the dishwasher cycled on and pumped out before declaring success. I highly recommend this company and will

Colin was very polite, the professionalism was shown all around,Came to the house, fixed our washer & was very friendly to talk to. Would totally recommend to anyone needing service.Unlike some other businesses, who come into your home and do what they need to do, (Internet, power etc) tend to not clean up their boot tracks, however I've had no complaints with Colin or his team. They are by far the best company I've dealt with, McDearmid will be my only choice for reliable appliance repair.

Colin and his Dad were so nice and helpful. The fact that Colin took the time to defrost my freezer by hand so that I wouldn't be without a fridge for 3 days meant the world to me! Because he defrosted it, the repair was done in 30 min. Great service, great price, quick response and great people - I would definitely recommend McDearmid Appliance Repair!
