Called to get our range microwave fixed as it was blowing the fuse when the door opened and closed. $300 later the technician said he had no idea why it was still having the same problem and he recommended buying a new one. Overall I'm sure Fix appliances is great however $300 to end up with a microwave range that still doesn't turn on was disappointing.Edit: FIX contacted me promptly to talk further. I am impressed by how professionally they handled the followup to their visit.

We were very happy with the service. The technician that fixed our washer was on-time and knowledgeable. Not only that, but he had the part we needed (a new door lock) in his truck. It wasn't cheap, but a lot better than buying a new washing machine. Would definitely use their services again.

I was not happy with the service. He said I needed a new compressor for my freezer and the cost was $2,000. It would be 4 days to replace. He wanted payment of $950.00 half of the cost for the compressor which I foolishly gave him. He said he wanted to help us as we are seniors.He did not come when he promised to and I realized that my freezer was working. He misdiagnosed the problem and refused to give us our money back. I threatened suing him and after three days of complaining to him forcefully he relented to give me my money back.

I sent in a request and they got to me very quickly. They were able to send someone out the next day. Unfortunately our washing machine would cost more to fix than to buy a new one, so I can't comment on the quality of their work, but they were honest with us and we appreciate that!
