My husband and I received such great service from a young man named Max this past Friday that I had to share so that maybe he will get some acknowledgement from his supervisor. This was such a rare occasion to have someone so polite, courteous and efficient to assist us. This is not just at Canadian Tire but at any establishment these days. It was a welcome change to the new norm.Thanks Max

Their online system is absolutely useless. They either can't or don't know how to update their inventory. I've encountered several issues with them where I've purchased something online that shows in-stock on their website only to get an email saying they can't fulfill the order. When I enquire further with the store they tell me they can't find the item in question, it's either been sold out or it's been put into storage. This is not items that show only 1 remaining in stock, but multiple. I've run into this issue with them several times, they just don't seem to be able to keep track of their inventory properly.

Lots of great deals on clearance items. Sometimes the Canadian Tire app is not accurate and when it says that they have some items in stock there is none on the shelf. Then when you try to find someone to help you they are nowhere to be found. It takes several minutes to find someone if you can find anyone at all. Even when you call for assistance nobody comes. I have also had several hassles returning items as well. My brother lives in Barrie and never has any problem there. It is like pulling teeth when I am trying to return items even when I have the receipts they still have problems. I have no idea why they are so incompetent at customer service. They are also very rude. My mom does not even want to return stuff there because of some of the staff that work there. She gets very frustrated.

I’m ot too impressed with Trenton Canadian Tire’s customer service!!! I purchased 6 bags of Playsand, now you just drive up and they load it in your trunk!! Apparently the person couldn’t count to 6!! When I got home I had 5 and one had a huge rip in the bag with a piece of tape on It!!when I went back with my receipt they refused to give me the 6th bag stating they’d have to review the tapes!! This is ridiculous… I feel as they are accusing me of stealing!!! Most large retailers would just give me the $8 bag of sand!! It’s not about the money it’s the fact that they are basically calling me a thief… when they are the ones who took my money but didn’t give me the product!! They only received the one star because I couldn’t leave 0!!

After a scheduled appointment “fell through the cracks”, I made a follow up phone call to discuss.The next day at their appointment offering, Rick in service made me feel like the only customer present, and made the repair in record time, and completed professionally once again.

Was berated by an employee for using wrong door in the nursery department. She grabbed my cart with my purse in it and spun it around out the door telling me “that’s it, I’m so sick of this. You are not coming in this way. “ When I asked why there was no sign, I was told she was going to put one up. Guess it was my bad timing that hadn’t happened yet. Her manager was standing right there and came to me later in the store and apologized for her behaviour. She said she should had never spoken to me like that. I agreed and took my business elsewhere.

Went to purchase an item from the store. It was marked as on sale, but the tag was failed to be removed/changed. Instead of honoring their mistake, the manager who was a short, elderly woman refused to be of any help at all... even after admitting that it was wrong. She had no desire to helpful or follow the company standards. This is why people go else where and to places like Amazon now.

Dec 23, 2022. BIG STORM. My sump pump was almost running constant, barely keeping up. I needed a small pump that I could run to continuously draw water. They were on Sale and IN STOCK! Added on a little 1/3hp with a small hose. My sump is thanking me!!!Nov 2022 Love this store. Staff is great. They usually do not run out of sale items. Easy access.
