Patrick and the rest of the staff at Broadway Pawn are a great group of people and I would never want to do business with anyone else in the city when it comes pawn shops. Great service, great prices, awesome deals and a very helpful. Best pawn shop in the city.

With a Pawn shop you have to be loyal to get the deals and special service. This has always been my place of choice for over 10 years and I've never regretted it once. Bought the guitar of my dreams here, a hollowed body electric. Awesome place, great staff and they have everything. Seems to be a gold mine for the people who need money, not the ones who Pawn crap. You can find stuff still wrapped in plastic!!

I was told they don't have room for a/c's and I'd have to bring my a/c to Denos also the same company(same with amc and city pawn). When I got to Denos I was told the manager Partick from broadway called and told them not to take it after walking it there, after telling me to take it there. I believe this was a good one and funny" but the level of unprofessionalism from management should result in an overhaul. I didn't realize it was a fun game for these Pawnbrokers. All in all if you want to be toyed with and belittled this is the place for you. Grade school level jokes and lemonade stand level professionalism."

I am unbelievably frustrated today! Bought a phone from here last March, the cashier said they do not buy stolen phones and check IMEI numbers. This phone has been working on Koodo since I bought it, I have no idea why Koodo sim card had no problems, which is also very frustrating. I recently decided to switch carriers and the new sim was not working! After some troubleshooting I've come to find out that this phone has a blacklisted IMEI. I definitely would of returned this phone if my first sim car was also having issues, now a year later having this problem is extremely frustrating. I no longer have a receipt for this. I am broke after moving back to BC. I can not use this phone on a network anymore. I don't make enough right now to get a phone on a tab. I feel like phones should be checked more thoroughly, or be given a waiting period to resell, if the person it was stolen from hasn't been able to report it missing like the day of. It's not really fair to a customer to have to deal with this kind of thing. I'm planning to make a police report tomorrow about this stolen property. I know pawn shops keep records of the photo ID used to make pawn sales. So hopefully that person will be held accountable. I bought the phone on or close to March 17, 2021 as that's when I ordered the sim card for it.To the shop worker who replied, did you read my post even? I am in BC!!! Luckily I found the receipt when I was getting my taxes together. I will definitely be returning the phone to you regardless of the time passed since purchasing. You sold me a stolen phone. You need to make this right.

They can be WAY over priced in some areas, like an MP3 I saw was more than it was new at walmart. (Same with their bluetooth speakers)Games are a bit much also, no case 3ds game and its still over 30$?Staff are great, but like others have said , you can tell they are fed up with calls and questions mid day. Other than that the girls that work there are awesome.

I've only been to a pawn shop twice in my life. The first time left a sour taste in my mouth and I didn't want to go to one but we were trying to liquidate a deceased family members belongings as quick as possible. Broadway pawn restored my faith in pawnshop sales! They were very thorough and professional. They made you feel welcomed and important and were very honest. Even items that wouldn't do well in the shop, they recommended other places to try. We have a few more items left and we will definitely be going back to them! Thanks Broadway pawn for making this difficult time in our lives just a tad bit easier!

Finally got around to visiting this place. Totally worth checking out. It's a small shop packed with interesting stuff. When I visited this morning they had stereo equipment, amps, musical instruments, power tools, video games and game accessories, headphones/headsets, DVDs/Blu-ray's, collectibles and more.The store is clean and Pat was super nice. I was there with my wife and 4 (basically 5) year old son and he amused our son with a demonstration of a metal detector, let him play with a remote controlled robot and played Walkie talkies with him.Nice staff, clean shop, interesting stuff. Highly recommended.

Very enjoyable initial experience when taking two items in but after that a complete nightmare. The accounting system is pen and paper and nothing regarding your payment is entered into the computer. I was told it's up to you to prove you made a payment by keeping your receipt and not certain but the staff pocket my couple hundred dollars and been waiting 8 days for my items or phone call.Has anyone else had the same situation where their money went missing and were made to feel it's your fault but there is nothing we can do without documentation.Call me immediately this morning before I contact the police
