Kinsmen Beach

Beautiful beach, perfect for paddle board. Some sand to play with but quite Rocky in general. Have some nice shades near the beach and ice cream shop too. There are also kids playground and splash park next to it.

Great beach, fun for kids and grown-ups. You can rent kayaks, paddling boards, boats. There is also a snack bar, water park, slides on the lake and a playground.

Great place with a lot of wildlife nearby, can be a birdwatcher paradise.

Great place to spend the day. There are washrooms, splash park, playgrounds, free small parking structure (earlier is better), snack bar. There is a free pump to fill buoys, boats or anything that needs air. Water temperature is warm during the summer days.

Nace and clean beach. Kids and family friendly. Lots of people enjoy casual water spots here. You can also rent one (padel board, kayak etc.) on site. Some nice big trees around as well if you want shades plus some picnic tables and grass areas along the side. Outdoor shower and changing room available.

Simple day beach escape with clean facilities available along with concession and water rentals. Two outdoor showers only so hard to really shower. Weather was warm but i still find Canadian lakes still too cold for this girl lol. Hubby enjoyed swimming. Went on a Thursday so was still busy but not hectic. Wasps can get a lil needy so pack food accordingly. The only couple things for us was it was alongside railway so several trains loudly blowing past. There were firest fires near sonthe watercrafts were flying over and by us constantly. Given doing their jobs as it was very smokey but we joked we felt like were back home in the city with all the noise. Like that movie planes trains & automobiles lol.

Great place to spend a day in the water and just chill out on the beach. It is rocky so make sure you bring a mat or beach chair. For those not wanting to go into the lake, there is a spray park too. Parking is limited so try and get there earlier during the busier times.

Great spot, best in the Rockies. Small private sand beaches all over the lake. Boat, kayak and other floaties are available for rent. Public washrooms. Water park etc

Total 10/10 spot. We’ve seen this place in every season, and I got to say, and this might be a hot take, that summer is the best. We recently found out that there’s actually a kid side and an adult side and a young adult side… Confusing? Regardless we were on every side and loved it, call us Switzerland! There’s grass, beach, water, you name it! In the mornings me and my friend Claire would go on a walk to the water before work and let me tell you it was empty and stunning.

That's our second time there . I love this lake. There is a plenty of space with shade which is very important when you are with your little ones. Lots of parking ,splash park , public washroom nearby and a few places to eat.
