We are new to Ottawa and didn’t know which business to call when our appliances broke. We called capital appliance and the service was great. They were quick to book us in, they showed up on time for the 2 appointments. They revised the cost and even compared it to the cost of a new appliance. The two men that helped us were Yuri and George. We will definitely be keeping this number as a place to call if our appliances break!!

In relatively short order, the dryer and the stove conked out… the service from Capital Appliance Repair was courteous and prompt. Yuri did the repairs on both and is simply fantastic. A consummate professional!

Kobi arrived and was very honest...I will beed a new washing machine, which is what I had suspected. I called Capital this morning, as as said, same day service. While, not happy with outcome, was very happy with company and aervice I received today. Will call them again, no hesitation.

Poor response on the phone by the representative, couldn't provide any basic quote or reference for the service asked for. I have a brand new house with a brand new dishwasher. Basically told me to figure out how to get the parts myself and then call them back and that the technician cant do the service without sourcing the parts? What kind of appliance repair service company doesn't keep basic parts in stock or has the ability to source the parts needed? I am willing to pay for the service and basically get a good luck you are on your own. This is why I called the trusted" professional. Your customer services reps should have been able to tell me that they can help me out and that the parts can be sourced easily and this is what you will need in order for the technician to perform the work. I just hung up because it was a useless conversation.You should screen your customer service candidates for competency and ability to acquire new business. I am an operations manager at a service based company and I would be shocked if my customers service reps were throwing away business because they can't navigate simple conversations.End result:I clearly told them I have no idea what I need to get/what to do and that I need to pay a professional to help me with that. I pay professionals to solve issues I can't. It's called delegation while I do what I am good at. That being said I called the next company that had good reviews and they were professional and had a customer service rep that actually had a basic understanding of the services they can provide which included being able to set up an appointment

We had an excellent experience with this company. Kobi took the time to explain the issue with our fridge, provided a reasonable quote and promptly fixed our fridge. He was very discreet, polite and extremely tidy. I would certainly call that company again.

V. was very professional, and very quick. He’s very good at dealing with people, does an excellent job. Left nothing behind for me to clean up. I’m soooo relieved my refrigerator is working again!

He answered all of our many questions, patiently and thoroughly and with obvious expertise. We were very satisfied with the service and would highly recommend this company.

I am very impressed with the service provided by Kobi, the technician who repaired my dishwasher. He was very knowledgeable, prompt and honest. He could easily have sold me a part I didn't need, and instead took the time to find the problem and fix it. Also Capital Appliance responded to my call very quickly, sending their technician the next day after I called. I would definitely recommend this service!

Incredibly competent service person, diagnosed quickly, ordered parts, and repaired everything efficiently after we lost the motherboards to our fridge and dishwasher in a recent ice storm repair power surge. Repair job was 5 stars! Giving 4 stars because it was a bit difficult to get an accurate estimate for parts delivery from despatch (originally quoted 2-5 days, and ended up being 31 days) which exacerbated how and for how long we managed a broken fridge at home. Would use again, and recommend!

Our dishwasher needed repair. George the Service Technician came in, assessed that we needed a drain pump. The part was ordered and a week later George returned for the install. Our dishwasher has been running smoothly since. George arrived on time, was courteous and professional. We would recommend Capital Appliance Repair for future repairs. Thanks George.
