Hertz Car Rental - Kelly Western Services - Private Flights Only

Very good people and service offered an upgraded SUV easy drop off

My wife and I rented a vehicle through Expedia in October 2022 from the Dollar Munroe Ave location. We picked the car up and proceeded to go on our holiday. At some point in our time away the tires on the car started to shake and vibrate. I called the office and was given a number of solutions, including me calling and organizing to get the car repaired. I ended up chatting with Graham from the Erin St location in Winnipeg and he encouraged me to get the car repaired at a dealership that our son works at in BC. He assured me that I would be refunded the amount paid when I brought the vehicle back. Upon returning the vehicle I presented the bill and was told that I would have to email a copy of the bill to the operations manager at the Erin St location, Harpreet. I did so and heard back from him that I would not be charged for the day the car was in the shop and I would receive a $ 45 certificate for our next rental with Hertz, valid for one year. I called him back and left a message for him to call me as I wanted a refund for the amount I spent repairing their vehicle as promised by Graham. It has been several weeks now since I returned the vehicle and numerous calls and messages for Harpreet to call me back to discuss. To date, no responses, and my disappointment in the Erin St office grows. I hate to say it, but I will NOT rent from the Hertz family again.

Great experience with Hertz

Called this location to let them know that i might be late returning a car due to blowing snow and extremely unsafe driving conditions. They told me that i had better drive faster because unsafe conditions were no excuse. Ended up being 10 minutes late on the return and was charged almost 20$.

Rena was the lady who checked me in at the Winnipeg Airport location on Oct 2nd. She was quick and really nice. After we discussed my needs she assisted me to the best options. She was very clear in her instructions and the registration was a breeze. Drop off even easier. I was greeted right away and all I had to do was take m empty coffee cups with me :)
