The Dentists at Northgate

My husband had extreme pain, due to a wisdom tooth. When I called the receptionist was so nice and understanding and got us in ASAP. When we got there we were again greeted with compassion. The dentist was able to take care of the issue and send us on our way. So pleased with our experience today!

My daughter has general anxiety and OCD. After a failed attempt due to these things the team and Dr. Navi agreed to seeing her again. The entire team here were willing to help and explain every part of the procedure as well as make adjustments to ensure that she felt comfortable. These are, in my opinion, the best dental team we've ever visited. They're quick, efficient and kind. If you're looking for a new dentist, give these people a call. Amazing.

The dental work itself was fine. The dentist; however, is not terribly good with anxious patients, despite being told he specialized in it. I also found it highly surprising that, once I had one tooth dealt with, the front counter staff did not want to book any other work for me, nor did they want to book a cleaning for me. They just kind of dismissed me. Not sure what that was about.

Everyone we encountered from the receptionists & assistants to the Dentist himself were amazing. They all took the time to make my son feel comfortable before and after having all 4 wisdom teeth removed. It was a Saturday afternoon and we were given the dentists cell phone number and told to call over the weekend if we had any concerns. To me this was going above and beyond expectations.

I recently required several visits to the dentist to repair issues that I had neglected. (I’m not comfortable with dental procedures and avoided the inevitable for too long). I had the good fortune of being booked into see Dr. Jerry Cao. After five visits I’m good to go tIll my next check up. “Dr. Jerry” is an outstanding dentist. He does everything to make his patient comfortable and checks frequently to ensure the patient is doing fine. He does a very good job explaining what needs to be done and offers options if they’re available. As my insurance coverage had been exceeded cost became an issue. Dr. Jerry offered options that saved me hundreds. He still did a first rate job of getting me back on the road to proper dental health. Thanks to his understanding and skill I won’t be so neglectful in the future.I highly recommend The Dentists at Northgate; and specifically recommend Dr. Jerry.

I have anxiety and very nervous about dentists. Love the staff here, make you feel comfortable. Don't pressure you. Explain in detail what your options are.I do recommend here. The dentists are patient and reassuring.

I've been attending Northgate Dental since moving to Edmonton 13+ years ago. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the office was clean and modern. My dentist is consistently knowledgeable and thorough, taking the time to explain my treatment and answering all of my questions. I always leave feeling satisfied with the care I received. I highly recommend Northgate Dental to anyone in need of dental services.

My brother came in for a new patient exam a bit ago. First off, this place is completely clean and professional but There was a really rude assistant I think her name was Tanya? All I could hear about was how she was being dismissive, obnoxious and completely rude about his questions. He would ask her the simplest questions and she would respond in the most vague way rolling her eyes acting as if he was forcing her to be there… as a dental assistant she should be more professional and have patience. Is she carrying the whole dental clinic on her back? Has somebody hired her there as a punishment? He went in there with the most positive attitude and looking for help. But this lady completely made him feel insecure. I think your clinic should do better and make sure your assistants/hygienists have a better stride toward others. Thanks.

I go there to see Dr Sandu. Honestly I've seen many dentist and I've yet to meet one as kind and gentle as she is. The worst part about the dentist is getting the needles and let me say . She is the best . Minimal discomfort and I've never had a bad experience yet. Thank you Dr Sandu you truly are the best
