RBC Royal Bank

I went there on Sep.10/22 for deposit my cheque from regular company. The manager told me that the cheque will be hold for 5 business days and she talk to me very rude. Closed my account and I will never deal with this bank.

These folks are absolutely USELESS!Just go there if you want to use an ATM. Everything else, just call the customer service & get it done, much simpler and quicker!

Not impressed. One of the tellers here is very superficial. I was dressed very casually the day I went in to withdraw some money for my dads funeral( a very little amount). She treated me like a bum and even tho I put my debit password in correctly she asked for my ID to “verify I am who I say I am”. I give her my drivers license. Then she asks for another piece of ID “to double verify”. It’s not that I didn’t have it, but I withdraw money all the time in larger amounts and never once been asked for 2 pieces of ID. I understand if someone wasn’t putting in the right password but this wasn’t the case, it was solely because she thought the way I dressed meant I stole this card.

Really Need to do better job on Customer service. Very rude and unprofessional service. I have used other RBC’s as well never had any issues with them.

Service is extremely slow. Mostly agents are busy chit chatting. No one is there to help you. If they don't want to do anything, simple answer CANNOT BE DONE. I don't think anyone has any knowledge what so ever. I have been to so many RBC branches but this is possible the worst one.

If I could give this RBC institution zero stars I would. As others mentioned in previous reviews. They apparently do not certify cheques for non members. Even if you open an account with them. They will refuse to service you. The manager Juan uses racial profiling tactics and has a passive aggressive approach to treating customers. I also felt that he was over reaching and going out of his way to make my experience a bad one. There's a feeling of complex of inferiority engendered by a complex of superiority coming from his demeanor. He was speaking to me in a very derogatory manner. He even said that they were not a Money Mart but a respectable financial institution. If anyone has the desire to file a class action lawsuit. Please contact me.

The service has severely gone down over the many years I've been with them. They are moving closer everyday to using digital ID which is very bad. I suggest a credit union.

I went this branch today nd hargun she don’t have knowledge to deal with the customer.Whenever i went, she sent me to go another branch from where i opened my account.Don’t go this branch and to hargun she must learn.Worst worst branch nd staff also.

Long lines, short staffed. Have to wait 15 minutes to speak to a teller.

RBC won't certify funds drawn on a Trust Account.Or any funds if you're not a client of RBC.What an absolute joke of an institution.Why should anyone accept an RBC cheque? We are going to put policies in place that won't allow the use of RBC as payment, without a 2 week wait for verification of funds.
