I have had great service here! I have a challenging prescription and Joceline has been very helpful. She is both knowledgeable and friendly with reasonable prices. Because of her service my granddaughter’s glasses were purchased here and I have recommended her to my co workers.

I have not had my eyes checked in years, but I could tell that it was time for glasses so I made an appointment here. They were so helpful- told me what was going on every step of the way. The doctor was great. Then, Melissa helped me find glasses. She was very thorough and I did not feel rushed at all. I really liked that they offered good/better/best options for quality and pricing on lenses. Melissa was able to help me work within my budget and direct bill my insurance. I would highly recommend them!

My hubby has had three bad pairs of lenses within less then a two year span already crazing and now cracking all for no reason and their sister clinic treated him like dirt refused to take his faulty glasses in after he drove an hour to their place when he forgot his mask so we had to drive an hour a different day to being them in again they wouldn’t even let him leave them outside the door for them to take. I contacted them about his lenses cracking this round and I was told thanks for your understanding we can’t help you anymore with them . Like seriously ? What I understand is 3 faulty pairs of lenses and one time when returned they bent the frames badly . This kind of professionalism is horrendous

I ordered glasses from here and honestly if I could give more than 5 stars I would. The staff up front were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They explained the different types of lenses they had. I forget what I went with but I’ve never had such clear and crisp lenses. I’m so happy with this purchase and look forward to coming back to get another pair.

The Ladies provided great service. They were able to help me with different options and found what worked best for me.

I cannot recommend South Winnipeg Eye Centre enough!last Friday my four year old and I went and got our eyes tested, they were so amazing with my little girl! I wanted these certain kind of Sunglasses I saw on the internet and the owner said she could absolutely order them in for me!I went in Saturday morning and ordered them and I got a message Wednesday that they were in!Profession, Kind, can get you anything you want and fast! Support Local!

Found a much better deal on prescription lenses at another store in St. Vital but decided to buy the frames from South Winnipeg Eye Centre. Was highly disappointed when the owner said the frames didn’t come with a case and that I would need to pay extra for one from her store. The store that I bought the lenses from said they would give me a case for free along with a cloth and some lens cleaner. I don’t see myself bringing any future business to South Winnipeg Eye Centre. The staff there seem friendly enough but the owner, not so much.

I have been going to South Winnipeg Eye for many years for my eye exams, along with my kids and husband. After todays experience we will never go back. I had my check up on Saturday which went very well, and the staff was very friendly. When I inquired about a fitting for my contact lenses updated I was told they would have someone call me Monday. Jocelyn called and the minute she found out I had purchased contacts online in the past she no longer was interested in helping me. I was more then happy and willing to pay for the appointment for the fitting and discuss purchasing contact from her but since I had bought online in the past she figured I was only out to save money and wasn't at all interested in setting up an appointment. I work in customer service and would never speak to my clients in this tone. We will find a new place for us all to have our eye exams done.

I was inquiring and wanting to purchase some contacts that help filter blue light from digital screens and my optometrist recommended this location. When I called about them I must have used the wrong terminology because the entirety of the phone call was simply rude and unwelcoming after the fact. Customer service makes a huge impact on a business and unfortunately I will be going else where now. I understand people are going through hard times, but that should never be reflected at your client.
