Motel Le Pocatois

We showed up at about 8pm and the gentleman at the desk spoke English to my surprise which was GREAT! He was super polite and checked us into a room near the door with a cot for my son as requested! The restaurant attached (Mike's) delivers food to the room and also spoke English ;) the server Julien was very polite & accomodating! It is extremely affordable and clean and for what you pay here (under $100 for three adults and a child) we couldn't possibly find anything to complain about this little gem right off the highway!

The best motel I have ever stayed in. Spacious and spotless room, excellent service. The receptionist was exceptional—convenient location, besides the restaurant, Mcdonald's & Tim Hortons.

We were at Motel Le Pocatois for a one-night stay and everything was fine for a short rest. The room was so clean, and the bathroom was fantastic.The bed could be more comfortable, but anyway, it was tolerable.

This is the best Motel in La Pocatiere. Service is superb. Restaurant Mikes at the same entrance door. Rooms are so clean. All front desk employees are very polite. I recommend it to all. I will make it my usual stop during my next travel plans

Clean *****80's style....very dated. Large clean rooms. NO HOT WATER. We had a jacuzzi tub in our room we couldn't use because there was no hot water.Next morning, still no hot water for a shower. Maybe this is normal in Quebec, but I like Hot shower.

I am not one to make a bad review unless it is really deserved and this time I must say it is.AC was non-functional and room was on the second floor.No working lights in the bathroom...it was pitch black.Fire Alarm was dismounted on the ceiling. I'm pretty sure that's a big safety issue.The room smelled like a man had just taken a shower. I could still smell this mornings occupant.They do not advise you that the rooms have a common door connecting one to another. Yes, it was locked but did I feel safe as a solo young woman traveling? Nope. I would have liked to be warned beforehand.Yes, everything is outdated but it's to be expected with these prices.I was only there for one night, as I travel for work. I do not recommend, not at the price of 120 a night.This should be a low end 60 dollars a night kind of motel. Don't expect any luxury or.... working appliances.

Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Even the stairway to our room smelled cleaned lol. We had run in to some car issues on our way home from a family trip out east and were without a vehicle and home, and the service team at Motel Le Pocatois went above and beyond to help us out. They were flexible and accommodating, and provide great service and value. Know that the restaurant attached to the hotel had some of the best food we'd ever had - the pizza and sea food casserole were ridiculously good. Thanks much :-)

This motel is right off the hwy and a good spot to stay if you are passing by. The rooms are outdated. Don't expect much.I don't know if it was our room or all the rooms but they didn't put any plastic bags on the garage cans. I know you may think this is silly to mention this but it is important when you have to throw away wet food or stuff like that and it just looks gross if there's no garage bags. I had to bring a few of my own to cover them.
