best sushi i’ve ever had. the sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the crab was very flavourful, all combined with a beautiful atmosphere. if you want fish, this is the place to come.

During the no dine-in phase, we decided to do a couple of take-outs from this place. So far, everything we ordered is very good!Most of the sushi rolls we have had taste fresh and most likely using local seafood here in Haida Gwaii. The Yakisoba has a good flavour to it, and the lunch and dinner boxes have generous servings in them - making it one of our favourite shares. Even the sides dishes are well made - the miso soup has good umami taste, the tempura prawns are good as well.The service is courteous and they are usually right on their estimated 20 minutes of preparation for your order.All in all, we would be back here again if we crave some good sushi.

Eating at Sapporo was one of the best decisions we made while here at Queen Charlotte City! Although it was not cheap, the sushi was excellent and very filling. I would definitely come back for dinner again

First time I've eaten Japanese food and it was interesting and delicious. Miso soup was really something I enjoyed with the contrasting flavour of the rice noodles served alongside

Pretty decent, considering the isolated location. Much more expensive than sushi on Vancouver Island; about what you'd pay in an inland city.Service was decently quick, considering they have signs everywhere about how they are short on staff. Not a good place to eat if you're in a hurry, though.Also, apparently the only decent restaurant in the area open after 6 or so, especially if your group includes vegetarians.

Amazing sushi! I have lived in Japan so I know.Its not cheap, but nothing is in Haida Gwaii.I was happy with my order.
