NAPA Auto Parts - NAPA Oakville

These folks helped me find silicone lubricant for my brake caliper slider pins quickly and efficiently during the COVID pandemic, they even called me to let me know my order was ready for pickup. The employees are great. Helpful and knowledgeable.

Until now I have found, Oakville NAPA to be good to work with. Sadly not anymore. Approximately 2 years ago, I bought two brake calipers from NAPA Oakville for my brother's Vibe. I picked the better quality ones, assuming they would last. Around a year ago, but within the warranty period, the piston on the right caliper seized. I could not find the bill. I went to NAPA to see if they could find a copy in their system. They said they could not. The parts person did say that NAPA was aware of a problem with their quality brake line - something to do with the calipers being painted black and paint getting onto the piston bore. Knowing this, NAPA still would not replace the part because I did not have a bill. I went elsewhere for the replacement part. Now the left hand side NAPA caliper seized. I called today NAPA Oakville to tell them this. The person I spoke with offered no solution. When I said that I will no longer purchase parts from NAPA he responded fine"."

Will put you on hold when you call, then, another on hold when they answer, then cut you off while you're still talking! Pass by their store to see how busy they are, I saw 1 costumer inside! Pisses me off!

Good service and can get almost anything I need for my car.It's also good that you can select parts online and pickup in store.

Good store to get parts, however make sure you only order online and not by the phone. I've had multiple times where I would call and get quoted a price, only for it to be higher at checkout. Then recently I called to get a price on some rotors, come in store to get the part and get quoted a ridiculously higher price, and after arguing it's then a different price for some readon (this time matching the online price). Yeah I'm sure prices change day by day but I at least when ORDER ONLINE, I am guaranteed some transparency on pricing.
