Canadian Tire

First time in years i had to return something. It was a living umbrella stand, not heaving enough for my 4th floor windy balcony. I don't generally return things because in my younger day i worked doing returns so I would only return if necessary. I was happy it went so smoothly because when i moved here over 10 years ago the Appleby location made it difficult to return and item. The return this time was great but the transaction wasn't showing on my card. I call the store and the manager Gabe was great. He and the cc company looked into it and the problem was found.

Over the years I have started to dread going into Canadian Tire. The reason is the staff. They seem like they don't want to work there and if you need to return something, they make you feel like you're doing something wrong. (Orangeville location is the worst)But today I bought a product that was no good and needed to be returned.When I walked in I was greeted with a big smile and asked how I was by Farah, the staff working at the returns counter. Not only did she make the return simple, she helped find a solution to buy something else.I then went over to the automotive department. There were two staff that were helping a customer and one of them (didn't get his name but black hair with very little grey) came over instantly when he saw me to ask how he could help. Also with a smile.Kudos to the management team that is doing the hiring. If all the staff are like these two, you have a great team!In regards to the store itself, they seem to have more products than I see at other stores.I highly recommend shopping here...I know I will.

Hands down the best Customer Service I’ve ever experienced! The Store Manager Aarti and her team excelled in all areas. I showed up just before the store was closing, Aarti took the time to help me in what I was looking for without rushing me. Then her team helped me carrying the outdoor garden furniture to my car and loaded it up for me! They made sure my car that my car was protected. I would definitely be coming back and referring my friends and family to this location! Thank you!

Review from my parents: We visited the Appleby Canadian Tire in Burlington a few weeks ago. We received great service from everyone we talked to. Aarti was very personable and helpful when looking at the garden furniture. We highly recommend this store

Unfortunately since they convinced me to get their triangle rewards card after I said no the first time and they told me that it would require no work, I am forced to leave an awful review for wasting my time. I have spent way too much time trying to pay off my 3 dollar balance because their app is not straight forward. You should not have teenage boys working different locations trying to sell a card and dstretch the truth. You’ve wasted over an hour of my time , for 3 bucks. So I’m sorry to leave this review but don’t annoy the customers. Make life easier for us.

I purchased a car battery on Sunday, turns out I didn't need a new battery after all! The battery was never removed from the trunk of my car after purchasing it. I validated the return policy prior to purchasing and all was good!I went to this location to return the completely unused battery, with the receipt in hand. I thought this would be a 5 minute in and out visit. I arrived and told them the battery was unused - they hooked it up to testing machine and told me the amperage was off from what the battery is labeled. I said - well that's funny

This is the second time I have changed over my tires at this location. The online booking process is convenient and easy to do. The text message reminders were great. My tires were done quickly while I shopped. Christian was very kind and attentive.

While most Canadian tires are similar, this being my local one is my favorite. I don't really go here often, but when I do, they have a good selection for every aspect of the car and home. Car parts prices are usually quite good and they hold a lot on stock. Great tool area, sports area and home area. I admit I only really come here for car parts and wall paint. Staff usually seems nice and helpful, but there have been of days when some staff seem agitated with my presence. Will always seem to return.
