This is something that Edmonton has been missing. There are tons of board game cafes, but this one stands out! Not only can you come in to play tabletop games, they have an incredible community built on their discord server, so you don't have to have other people coming with you to be able to enjoy the space. The other incredible feature is the Maker Space, not everyone wants to buy their own 3d printer or laser cutter, and to be able to use the ones at the Clumsy Dragon is a huge draw. Matt really knows his stuff and has been great at helping me find a few new items to make my D&D sessions more fun and more interesting. I highly recommend checking them out!

Everyone here (from the owners and staff to all the gamers and creators) that I've met have been exceptionally friendly and inviting. This is a great place to play games, paint, craft, and buy. The gaming and crafting areas are spacious and well equipped as well. It has been a pleasure to game here and meet new friends. Try out a membership, you won't regret it.

Really fun and welcoming place to shop! I find they have a really large selection of everything for the size of store. The owners are fun to talk to with ideas for anything from dnd to gifts to get. And the best part… THEY HAVE A PUG IN THE STORE!!!!!

Amazing people, amazing energy. Definitely a great place to spend an evening playing DnD. The owners are super helpful and friendly. Once you start playing it doesn’t feel as much like a store and more like a club.The 2$ pizza pops is a huge bonus

Not only does this place have all the books, modules, and gear (dice, dice trays, etc.) you could want, it also has awesome owners! I came in unsure of what module to run as a new DM and got tons of great advice on different campaigns and where to get more tips if I wanted. Highly recommend if you're looking to stock up on books, come in for a game at their tables, or print minis. It looks amazing.

We found The Clumsy Dragon through tiktok and decided to make the 3 hour trip from Calgary to check it out! We talked to Matt who immediately greeted us with a friendly attitude and was kind enough to give us a tour of the place! I love the motivation behind this place, giving a space for the community to come together through gaming and D&D. Especially right now, I think everyone needs a little more gathering with friends (hopefully soon) around a giant table!

Couldn't be happier we tried this place out. Girlfriend and I went looking for minis and some simple stuff for our regular DnD game and found this is much more than a little corner nerd retail shop. Huge bay turned into a gaming area for members, a private game room with some cool tech going on, members have free use of the creation area to make terrain and paint minis, it's an actual community to join in with and it's rad. Give these guys your business, had a great time at our little visit. You need a group or to just nerd out with some great folks, this is the place to do it

This is a great place for hobbyists and gamers alike. A social environment with friendly staff.Prices are competitive. The shop space is small but the staff are quick to offer to order anything they might not have in stock. The gaming space in the back is impressive and well equipped. If you are just starting out or a seasoned gamer, the Clumbsy Dragon is sure to meet your needs. Did I mention the friendly staff?

The experience I had here was absolutely wonderful. The staff we dealt with was absolutely amazing he was very into all assets of tabletop and very knowledgeable. You could tell by his enthusiasm about tabletop that he was also very into DND and all things geeky. It was an incredible experience and I can not recommend going here enough!
