By far the best photographer I have ever worked with!! I am a makeup artist from Toronto, Ontario and picked the east coast as our wedding destination and was so happy with the lead up to our big day. John spoke with my husband and I for over an hour on the phone while we were in Toronto prepping to come to Nova Scotia. We felt like we knew him for years already! On the day of we had the worst weather none to man but John made it work and the photos came out so beautifully and intensely you wouldn't know we were in the middle of a monsoon! John and his team were so nice he even offered to take us out to shoot at Sunrise a couple of days later so we would get our desired beach shots without us even asking. Such a stand-up guy! Elenor keeps everything very organized and easy when it comes to behind the scenes. All together one of the best parts of our wedding was spending alone time together as a couple while John was shooting us, we felt extremely comfortable. Thank you so much for making our day amazing!

John David is a very professional and lovely person to work with. The studio has a wonderful ambiance and top notch background music. I wanted a few of my grad photos taken with my toddler; he obliged and photographed her well! 100% recommend him and his work!

I was initially attracted to John David Photography after hearing good reviews from other students about the quality of their service (and because cheaper sitting fees means I have money for lunch). I also like to support local businesses, so I thought I'd give them a shot.John David is clearly passionate about his work, and it really shows up in the quality of the pictures he takes. The sitting was quick and professional, and John was cordial without sacrificing efficiency. He has a great team put together, and would be my first choice for portrait or event photography in Antigonish.

We have had engagement, wedding and family/maternity pictures done by John and he never disappoints! We are always blown away at the photos we receive & look forward each year to getting our photos done again.John goes above and beyond to make sure he gets the perfect shot. John David was one of two photographers I had photograph my wedding on August 6, 2016 in Toney River, Nova Scotia, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about John David and how everything turned out!!Prior to the wedding I was able to meet with him and he was so enthusiastic about everything, which made me so excited to work with him. He was very attentive during the weeks beforehand, which is always encouraging with so much going on leading up to the wedding.On the actual day of the wedding John David and Fallon showed up and got snapping right away, it was great to capture some of those more casual moments! I 100% trusted him with everything, and I was so glad I did! His vision was unbelievable, and we got some amazing shots in one area with so many different backgrounds, which meant not a lot of time travelling back and forth to places and that was so great!! I honestly felt like I never had to worry about moments being captured, I trusted John David 100%!Now that I have received all of the photos I am THRILLED!!! They all turned out absolutely amazing and I am so thankful for his attention to detail, and how much time and effort he put into making the pictures look awesome, I go back and look at them constantly!!The other photographer I had was Fallon Conway, and the combination of these two was truly unbelievable! I got my graduation photos done with John David Photography. My photos turned out great. I had many poses to choose from and I got several that I really liked. The photo editors were able to get my chosen photo exactly how I wanted it. Thank you and the team of editors so much for making changes to the photos to accommodate any request. I’m very happy with it. I appreciate the great service my roommates all have gotten through the team. I can't say enough good things about John! This was my first time having professional pictures done and to say I was nervous is an understatement! I almost canceled a few times and only went because my parents insisted on graduation pictures and I figured if it was horrible, I was only booked in for 45 minutes so it wouldn't be too long. It was the opposite of what I expected, he quickly made me comfortable and relaxed and the 45 minutes flew by. He is clearly very talented and you don't have to worry about anything, he tells you what to do and when to do it.

My daughter recently had her St Fx graduation photos done by John David Photography and the results were fantastic. Her in studio experience was easy to arrange, relaxing and very professional. We received proofs shortly after photo shoot, touch ups were completed quickly and final photos received in the promised timeframe. We are extremely pleased with the photos and highly recommend John David Photography!!

John David was our wedding photographer at Crystal Cliffs in Antigonish this past summer. We were SO IMPRESSED not only with the quality of our photos, but with the energy and passion John David brought to his job. He had a way of capturing all of the photos we wanted, and all kinds of beautifully special candid moments without ever being intrusive. Many of our guests commented on what an amazing wedding photographer we had before even seeing the photos, based on the beautiful personalities of himself and his lovely assistant. Once we were able to view and share the stunning pictures, we, along with our friends and family, were simply blown away. We were also so grateful with how quickly we were able to see our pictures ... we were prepared to wait months to see the finished images but were pleasantly surprised when our photos were ready to view within the week. I would highly recommend John David as a photographer for any event!
