Super 8 by Wyndham Gananoque/Country Squire Resort

Last night, I was in a life-threatening situation. The blizzard almost had us in the ditches, after long stressful minutes nearly buried in snow. We the decision to wait out the storm at this Super 8. We arrived around 3 am, the reception was exceptional in getting us a room and taking care of us. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The in-room heater made the night much easier. We then left to go home safely the following morning. If you are looking for a place to stay the night, Super 8 is one of the best options.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 days for a family reunion. Location is great, close to highway, restaurants and a grocery store. Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating to anything we needed. Our room was very nice and recently updated with a lovely deck with a view of the pool. Bed was comfortable. Didn't swim in the pool but it looked nice. We used the banquet room in the evenings for our family to eat and gather and the hotel was quick to assist with any of our requests. The air conditioning does need to be improved in that room but it was ok. We had dinner catered in from the attached Wild Wing restaurant one night and it was delicious! Shout out to Neil who cooked all our wings. He was extremely friendly and very pleasant to deal with. Overall would return to this hotel.

To start off with the good, hotel is in a great location. Close to stores and coffee places.Now the bad.Hotel has had no or almost no renovations in the last 20 years.Grounds are just kept up, enough to walk.Pool is maintained to minimal standardRooms are extremely outdated and very musty, as well as no room service was performed during my 2 night stay.Beds were stiff and pillows were flat, air conditioning worked to a minimal level.Bathroom was half done with some new additions and some old left behind.Safety lock on door was missing.For the common areas, party room on evening 1 had no air condition and on evening 2 the roof was leaking.The gym had extremely unsafe equipment with frayed ropes and unstable benches.You can get a cold continental breakfast at the breakfast bar included and for an extra $8.00 you can enjoy scrambled eggs and bacon/sausage. Or for $6.00 you can enjoy a meal at Tim Hortons next door.In a pinch you can stay here or more simply just stay next door.

Room clean, had everything we needed plus they also give a complimentary breakfast which was very nice. The outdoor area could use a little T L C but everything else great...

I visited this place for our Canada day vacation, it was so fun for my family, the staffs are so kind, welcoming and friendly, when the lady in reception heard this is our first visit, she upgrade our room to pool view. And totally this place is very clean and close to highway and thousand islands cruise. Highly recommend!

Staff were super helpful and accommodating! We were able to park our 28ft travel trailer in the parking lot with ease and they have a very reasonable pet fee for our 2 cats. Our room was huge and the sliding door with an outdoor deck was an unexpected plus. Some features (e.g. taps and carpeting) were dated and could be updated. Overall would definitely come back if I pass through the area again!

We stayed for three nights with friends next to us. Our rooms had their own deck, and we overlooked the back yard and pool. The rooms were very clean, well stocked, and the beds very comfortable. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Parth made sure we were comfortable, as our first rooms didn't pan out, so without hesitation he gave us better ones that were great. The included breakfast was hot, tasty, fresh, and lots of it. The pool was clean. All in all, a great place to stay. It looks a little dated on the outside, but that simply adds to the surprise when opening the door to your room!

I was shocked by this property. I called to let them know i was very sick and wabted to reschedule, instead of spreading germs. The person who answered the phone said they dont care about the spread of germs. I can come or pay a one night stay as penalty. Anyways... i decided to be responsible and cancel my reservation. I got charged 1 nights stay. Extremely disappointed. Never will i go to this property!!

Perfect location right off the highway. Stayed May 27 2022 Had room 119 with the jacuzzi and fireplace. It was very nice. Room was clean and cozy. I like the fact that you can go our the back door to your own table and chairs. My only complaint it the screen in the patio door needs repaired. Very pleasant owners. Thank you
