The ambience was very nice. The drink was good. The quesadillas was not bad. But the nachos tasted weird. Loved the burrito. Overall, okay okay.

We came here on a Monday evening and it was fairly busy. There's not too many tables so we waited a bit before finding a seat. Menus were provided but you have to go up to the front counter to actually order. The prices are reasonable for what you're given.I ordered a burrito plate with rice and salad. The restaurant offers a complimentary salad bar which is very nice of them. My main issue was that it took around 25 minutes for my dish to be served, and another five minutes before everyone else got their food. The food itself tasted good, and portion sizes were fulfilling. However, I found the steak to be a bit too dry for my liking. Checked tacos were perfect. We also ordered some churros for desert, which were nice. Overall 4/5, would increase rating if food was served faster

Food gave me anxiety no flavor no presentation just fried nachos and dry chicken in tacos and taco bread was basically wrap bread. Disappointed in the food. Quick service and great servers and good ambience very mexican but Won’t recommend in terms of food flavors

Ahora was a favourite of mine when I was a student in Ottawa 10+ years ago. Fortunately, the food is just as good as I remember it. The dishes are cooked and seasoned to perfection, and you will not leave hungry. If you are craving very reasonably priced Mexican food then look no further!

A small but powerful dining space. Delicious, lives up to the hype I've heard about this place. Delicious, hearty portions. Very cool dining area. The only critique is we would love a hotter in house hot sauce! All the ones available are mild.

Great Mexican Restaurant with amazing mexican vibes. They have gluten free options which I loved. Burrito was really good and filling. The Tacos felt like they lacked a bit of sauce so I had to order a Guacamole sauce as extra. They do however have a free bar sauce for other sauces.Overall, great experience. Very healthy and delicious food.

Small place with extraordinary taste. This Mexican restaurant is super amazing and have amazing food. They have vegetarian friendly options. Definitely try their tacos and burritos. Their spicy sauces are so good that I drank a few of them. It is available in their salsa bar. The atmosphere is vibrant and brings back memories of Mexico! They also have traditional drinks. They accept card.

Authentic Mexican cuisine at a great price. Great for a quick stop in. A mix of dine in and take out, you place your order at the counter and then sit down. Your meal is brought to you afterwards. A great hole-in-the-wall spot in downtown Ottawa.

An interesting place to sit and eat, but may not be able to accommodate more than 30 people I think. I like how you can choose the meal and take any salsa, salad or the sauce on the bar menu(at no additional cost). The tried the tacos and they were well done, especially because they used two taco breads under the filling( not soggy and breakable like other taco places). The chips were over fried and a bit bitter but the guacamole was perfect. The staff was polite but this may not be a fine dining place, if you prefer that someone comes to your table and takes your order..Overall I’d rate it well.
