Lakeridge Motel

This place is amazing! The people who own it are so nice and very very friendly!! They keep it clean an go the extra mile all the time! My family was illegally evicted and had no place to go, they took us no questions asked and I can’t explain how helpful they are! Thank you so much!Mike

Great mom & pop joint. I’m renting weekly because I need too for work. The place is very clean and maintained. They have a non-smoking and smoking rooms. So far from my knowledge their rooms include kitchenettes which is rare in the Durham region. Might find one in Ajax. This place definitely beats the motel in Ajax and I plan on staying here for awhile until I find a new place. I’ve had bad experiences at many motels in the Durham region and this place is the best place I’ve seen yet. Very friendly staff and if you are looking for a cheaper than hotel rate and a nice place to lay your head near downtown Whitby. This is your spot. The owners do not want to rent to people that are going to ruin the place, they will turn them away. Very respectful and understanding especially if your just in town for the night to see family or to take a vacation.

Today I brought my disabled friend to this motel who in fact was homeless and so the shelter was paying for her room , upon arrival we were greeted by a older gentleman yelling at us that she couldn't have visitors which we understood and was trying to explain that we were only there to help our friend unload her items ect ... Then we were yelled at again because apparently she had to much stuff it was the most degreatinv situation I have ever been in I don't recommend this place at all !! Very rude and unfriendly place specially towards a special needs person :(

Although it's a motel, I must say I'm extremely satisfied with my experience here. I was treated better here by the staff then I ever was at any hotel I've been too. The owner was extremely welcoming upon checking in, compromising with my needs, thoroughly explained how things operate and the daughter in law was very professional.
She cleans the rooms and I was very happy with the cleanliness of my unit. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets are soft unlike most hotel sheets. They have certain policies in place that prevent renters from having guests over so there's no partying or people going I and out of the rooms all night or day. My stay was peaceful and I will definitely be re booki6again. Thank you lakeridge motel- Jessica

Nice people Mom & Pop place. The rooms have been redone and it seems like they put money in to the place now. Very well maintained I would say the best experience I’ve had in the Durham region and I have been to 3 motels from Ajax to Oshawa. Recommended 100%. Must have a deposit to rent from them that is higher than most besides Bowmanville that I know of but it is worth it !

I’ve stayed here and i’ve gotta say that this place is nice and clean. The manager and cleaning staff are really nice and friendly. If your looking for a place away from home, this would be it. You won’t be disappointed.In addition the small little things you would normally cringe about in a hotel/motel, they thoroughly clean & sanitize them. Seeing is believing, and I’ve seen a motel that’s worth 5 Stars.

After reading other people reviews I was skeptical about staying, but it's a really cute and comfortable room. Room 4. I had no problems here.
