Beautiful estate. The grounds are even open to the public. Check out the commemorative trees and sign the guestbook in the foyer.

My DadRobert F Richardswas the Security Guard to all of these Government Buildings and the Colonial building in and around St. John's NL sense 1970 to 1994. he officially retired in 1995.

I have truly enjoyed my most recent visit to this Newfoundland and Labrador treasure. I have been there for a number of events over the years but just walking the grounds, visiting the big house or seeing the changes over the years has always brought a smile to my face. I look forward to my next visit although given the parking, I may park a little further away. Definitely one of the best places to visit in St. John's.
