Battle Arts Academy

I started my martial arts journey at Battle Arts Academy 8 months ago. My primary focus is Muay Thai and MMA Grappling. The highlight of my day is having the opportunity to train at BAA. I consider it my second home. The culture is like no other. Everyone is like-minded, always ready to work hard and push one another past their limit. Sparring is utilized in almost every class. It is very technical meaning a beginner can spar with an expert and both practice and learn without getting injured. One of my favourite aspects about BAA is knowing most members on a first-name basis. You have the chance to socialize before and after training which is uncommon in most facilities. If you want to learn lifelong skills and get into phenomenal shape you should consider joining Battle Arts Academy.

My kids went to camp here and had the BEST TIME. The staff were amazing, spending time with each of my kids, and giving them an awesome experience. Owners are approachable and helpful. I highly recommend Battle Arts Academy!!

Cleanest martial arts facility I've been to. Staff are always cleaning mats between every class. Weight room has quite the variety of equipment including one of those manual incline treadmills. Professional and friendly owners and staff. BJJ program is great.

I started my first martial art (Jiu-Jitsu) in January at Battle Arts and I am glad I did. The environment created by the professors and the members have only been a welcoming/positive experience. They are extremely knowledgeable with their craft as they provide detailed instructions on the specific movements taught in class. They also take the time to analyze and help students while they are practicing to help adjust minor details in proper form which I have found to be extremely helpful in my development! Needless to say, I would totally recommend anyone who is looking for a gym that provides excellent service and coaching!

My kids have been attending since opening day. The coaches are so friendly and amazing, they make sure every one is included and having fun, always such a fun positive upbeat time. I personally just started the circut training class, such a fun positive class, you dont feel pressured that you have to keep up, you go at your own pace, you always get positivity and encouragement, and always treatedlike family. I would not think of any other gym to be a part of.

I can only speak on the BJJ classes but I can say that the coaches are incredible and make learning BJJ fun.The staff are friendly and the facilities are clean.I have trained at other gyms and this is by far my favourite. I'm glad I picked Battle Arts.

Very nice gym. People are nice. Programs are amazing. Only complaints are the lack of toilet paper, hand towels, cleaning apparatuses for the gym equipment. No phone-in lines to check the hours for the gym or for genral inquires. Lots of petty theft. Have gotten tapes, shoelaces and other things stolen here.

Beautiful, clean location and really knowledgeable bjj instructors. The friendly atmosphere doesn’t hurt either

An amazing facility located in Mississauga. Weight room, Jiu jitsu, pro wrestling, amateur wrestling, group fitness classes, and so much more. If you live in the GTA battle arts is definitely the place to go to get in shape!
