Amazing place to ski. Currie bowl was my favorite. Wish I got to go up the polar peak chair. Can't wait to go back.

Great weekend in late February of skiing! Friendly staff. Nice restaurants on the hill. Not open very late but the food is delicious!

Amazing diversity of ski terrain over five bowls. You can ski here all day and not ski the same piste twice. The people who come here to ski are cool and down-to-earth— not like many of the pretentiously pompous skiers you see at many Epic" resorts. Fernie might very well be my new favourite ski place to ski!!"

Got in the wrong line so waited a little long to purchase tickets.$30 each for us hikers for a 30 min ascent and a return ride down. Panoramic views, mountain flowers and raspberries along the trail at the top. Watch for cyclists! Shared path! Worth the pesos!

Fernie has something for everyone - from beginner-friendly vibes all the way to shred dawg steeps - the whole family will love it here. The prices are super reasonable considering the accessible terrain and if you can’t find a skiff of powder where you’re shredding, there’s always a few turns to be had with a little boot pack hike.

Being at a lower elevation, there tends to be issues with rain sometimes. However fernie is one of my favourites, i lived in the area for a few years and have taken several trips in the past. Its a must, great for beginners and advanced, has 4 bowls to play in and a chair to the peak. The town of fernie has lots of food and historical value.

10/10 the best field in Canada. Get your hands on friends and family RCR discounts if you can. Recommend All In Rentals for sharp and high quality skiis

Ton of runs! A whole lower section of green runs and blue/green areas. Caution to beginner skiers, the blue runs have more difficult sections than other resorts and trails are not well marked. Many green runs seem like green with blue sections. Blues seem like blue with black sections. Make sure you're on the run you expect by asking locals at the top of the run. AND ski with a buddy in case you get into trouble.

I grew up in Fernie and watched this family owned ski business grow into a world class resort.Regardless of your ability, you will have many parts of the mountain to explore. The hill has been built over three natural mountain bowls which provides stunning views from the top.The runs that have been carved into the sides of these bowls provide steep and aggressive terrain for expert level skiers and boarders who want to shred the hill. The centers of the bowls provide gentle slopes for those who come for a relaxing day enjoying moderate terrain with lots of tree runs.Fernie is famous for its powder. Due to its location, the snow is dry and light and after a good dump will give you a powder day that you will never forget. The resort is located low in the mountain so the lower runs are subject to warmer weather. It’s not uncommon to have melting snow and ice at the bottom with great conditions at the top. There are hundreds of rental opportunities right on the hill including many ski-out lodges. There are re also large home that sleep multiple families available for rent. The town of Fernie does not have many restaurants or places to enjoy night life for a resort of this size. This is the biggest negative to choosing this location over other options like Whitefish.
