Popped in at their Griffintown location to inquire if they could do small repairs on 2 pairs of sunglasses. Upon walking in, the staff was very welcoming and courteous. The space is beautiful and they offer a great selection of frames. They repaired my sunglasses on the spot and were kind enough not to charge me, which I thought was very gracious of them since I was fully expecting to pay.I now plan to go there for my next eye exam as well as any future eyewear purchase. Excellent service!

Took my 3-year-old to see Dr. Tran today. Such a great visit. He has two small kids of his own, and it was very apparent with how he immediately put her at ease. They played “games” for all the eye tests and my daughter had a blast: Tracing lines in the colour blindness circles, picking out the animals that jumped out with the 3D glasses, etc. Thank you for making her first visit such a positive memory.

Unsatisfactory repair service. I brought in a pair of Persols for repair but after only a few minutes I was told that the repair was impossible and the glasses were toast. Went to another store for a second opinion and the repair was done in 3 minutes for free. Voskins seems to have a great selection and service for those interested in getting an exam or buying frames in house (their selection *was* fantastic and intriguing), but I would not return to this shop if I needed repair service again.

My child, a university student coming to Canada, visited the doctor three or four times because of dry eye syndrome and diplopia, and the doctor was very patient in doing various examinations each time. During the course of treatment, we had consultation several times virtually, and the doctor gave very timely replies, which solved our doubts. The doctor also gave pertinent opinions & an accurate prediction on the next step of diagnosis b4 we went to the referral. My child and I are very grateful to Dr. Guimond and Dina who handled the communications throughout.

Been meaning to write a review this team here in Griffintown. The people here are really friendly, welcoming, and most of all, thorough. They took their time to explain my situation and choose the perfect pair of glasses for me every step of the way. I not only good amazing service here but great quality as well. They never pushed, they were sincere with their opinions, and they tried their most to find what works best for us. As many thumbs up as I could give =)

Excellent customer service and support. I was able to test various contact lenses to see which fit the best and they did an excellent follow up with me. They gave me good advice for which type of lenses i should use based on my needs and it was always easy to talk to someone or have an appointment. I've seen tons of optometrists in my life and i can say that Voskins is by far the best!

Walked in to get lenses and my friend asked to get her glasses tightened/straightened at the same time. We were charged for the service 'because we didn't have a file' (despite opening one that day) and then that excuse changed to 'because we didn't buy the glasses there'. During the same time, another customer who said she got her glasses somewhere else got hers fixed for free.Doesn't feel good to not be treated equally. This is also the first store I ever see charge a potential customer for an adjustment that takes a couple minutes.Did not feel welcomed.EDIT: After the reply from the owner, I am happy I did not give this place my business. I had said I needed lenses for which you would charge me 180$ that day, meaning I had come into the store to give you my trust (but that didn't seem like it was enough). I ended up no-showing to my appointment because of what you did.For reader's FYI, basic lenses would cost you 180$ here. At three stores near the area, they will cost you at most 160$ (minimum 11% less). If service and price don't matter to you, Voskins is the place to go!

This is where I had my first eye-related clinic visit in Canada. Got several sessions, lots of questions and concerns as well as new equips for me to get myself be used to but Dr. Guimond & the front desk staff are all very patient & helpful. Pricing is very competitive comparing with those in dt, even if the total time spent for treatments is quite long and I asked to keep my records.

I had an excellent experience at Voskins having my eyes examined and also with help purchasing new glasses and lenses. Claude was very attentive, friendly and professional. The service is outstanding and very personal. The follow-up is great and you really feel like you’re being taken care of. They have a great selection of frames and the shop itself is very welcoming with its quirky design and retro feel. I highly recommend it.
