Just takes 1 miserable cashier, brunette with glasses in her early 50s, yelling at a whole lineup of people to reorganize the lineup to set off people's moods. It's not marked, nobody knows you want 1 unified line unless they've been here before. Thanks for making my little kids feel like they did something wrong after they waited in line for 5 minutes.

Buckhorn is a great little community and is a tourist town in cottage country. The Foodland is a smaller grocery store but has a moderately well rounded selection of food items. Like most grocery stores in cottage country, the prices seem somewhat higher in the summer months. During peak times in the summer, this store can get really crowded with really long lines at the checkouts. There are only 4 checkout lanes in this store. Because the aisles are narrow, navigation of this store can be frustrating when it's busy.

Friendly staff and nice and clean store. I've never had a issue with anything I've bought from this store. If you forget your bags they typically have cardboard boxes there that you can use which is great! They have a nice size paved parking lot with lots of room to park and turn around if you have a trailer or RV. It's a small store but they have pretty much everything you need!

Usually have great hot lunches here. But this time she purposely gave me 3 of the smallest chicken fingers, yet stuffed the boxes full for the two guys before me and she wondered why I didn't say thank you for ripping me off.

How does your butcher offer chicken legs but dosent remove the excess fat?As meat prices increase, does foodland keep charging for fat and not meat? New butcher???
