Dr. Soon Shiong knows his stuff. He is a no nonsense professional and I will always be grateful to him for relieving me of the pain I suffered for three long years.

Dr Soon Chiong in my opinion is the best. He did some pretty intensive work on my back and I never thought I'd be pain free again but not only am I pain free, I've returned to work and my back feels great. Thank you Dr. Soon Chiong...I'll see you in nine months for my second follow up.

Had emergency decompression surgery March 10 ,2021. I had Cauda Equina Syndrome . Dr. Soon Shiong was there after my surgery at 11:00 pm to ensure i could feel my right side. My surgery was not your typical decompression surgery and Dr. Soon Shiong preformed a miracle. He gave me a second chance. He’s truly a gifted doctor. I feel safe and can trust him. There are not enough words to thank him!!!!!

Horrible experience with dr soon shiong. DO NOT USE HIM. I went to dr soon shiong about 3 years ago, after a few meetings in his very dirty office he recommended I get a procedure done that will get rid of the numbness in my legs. Fast forward to June 2022 when I had my surgery. It’s now march 2023 after spending thousands on physiotherapy 3 times a week his office has never done a follow up, I can barley walk the numbness is worse than before. Please do your research and DO NOT use dr soon shiong

My mom went in for a spine surgery and originally he said that her surgery would be an easy one by just removing a nerve from touching a disc, only to find out that he had removed FIVE discs and have left my mom in such terrible shape. After months of her complaining that something was wrong he decided to see her and assess the surgery. On the day of appointment he over looked my mother briefly and carelessly and told us that the surgery went well and that she was okay. Four years now later after her continuously complaining about something still not being right with her body, we had to take her in for emergency surgery cause she had no feeling in her body due to a nerve pressing. If you care about your loved one, never take them to see this doctor if you want to call him one. Shame on him and his practice.

Dr. Soon-Shiong performed a surgery for me about 15 years ago. To this day now I feel great. The surgery he performed was life-changing. Thank you very much you have improved my life for the better, and I appreciate it.

Dr. Soon Shiong has operated on my back in 2011, fusion and 2023, decompression surgery. Dr. Soon Shiong is a true professional and I am so grateful for his medical expertise. Thank you Gregory for giving me my life back and giving me a future with less pain.

Dr. Soon-Shiong is an amazing doctor and talented surgeon. When I was referred to him, I had been in excruciating pain, unable to walk for weeks due to a badly fractured lumbar vertebrae. He looked at my MRI and knew immediately what was needed to take corrective action. He showed a level of personal care and compassion that is very rare amongst Doctors, in my experience - so much so that he actually cancelled his vacation plans so he could get me into surgery within just a few days. He pulled all kinds of strings at the hospital and worked on me until the wee hours of the morning. It was a complicated decompression and multiple-point stabilization of my entire lumbar spine. I am so happy that an oncologist referred me to him. I since learned that he has an excellent reputation amongst his peers, and is considered a leader in the field of spinal surgery.Thank you, Dr. Soon-Shiong, for expertly fixing me up and getting me back on my feet! I will never forget what it was like to be in your care.

Dr. Soon-Shiong had performed a spinal fusion on me 13 years ago which allowed me to return to a very active lifestyle. I have since developed pain above and below where the surgery was performed. I have had a number of consultations with him since the pain has returned and for the past 2 years he has recommended a number of non surgical treatments. Unfortunately, these have provided limited relief. I appreciate the fact that Dr. Soon Shiong looks at non surgical treatment options and only presents surgery as a last result. I have decided to have surgery and am grateful that Dr. Soon Shiong is performing it because in my mind and based on my past experience with him, he is an excellent surgeon and truly cares about the well being of his patients.
