Passport Health Oakville Travel Clinic

From the phone call to book the appointment to the follow-up afterwards the experience at Passport Health in Oakville was easy, and immensely helpful. I will be travelling abroad to several countries and Mary Ellen took the time to review everything with me, consider my options and help me make the best decisions for my health. I've gotten a quick response to all of my follow-up emails and I can say that this experience has given me a lot more confidence in protecting myself while I travel.

I visited the clinic with my partner and 2 children. The appointment didn't take long. Nurse Jessica was polite and kind. I must say we were disappointed that we weren't given a prescription for Dukoral and were told we can get it over the counter. When we went to purchase the oral vaccine, we were told if we have a prescription majority of the cost will be covered by insurance. I called the clinic to request the prescription but I was told the records show that we declined the vaccine and we would have to come back for prescription. The clinic visit cost a lot of money and the vaccines cost so much more than if done through the family doctor. Overall, disappointing and costly.

Passport Health Oakville is by far the best travel clinic I've been to. My experience with Mary was outstanding.Mary was very personable and welcoming from the start. She educated me on all the recommended vaccines along with their benefits as well as precautionary measures while on my trip.Also, I appreciated the fact that she took the time to review my health history before my visit. So when I arrived she had already complied all necessary information, which made the appointment very organized and to the point.Lastly, everyone I know who has gone to this clinic and seen Mary had only positive things to say.

Great experience. Jessica was professional, informed and easy to work with. We felt like our health was a priority and best of all the service was fast!

When you see the nurse in person, the experience is professional and pleasant. However, do not expect the office to be opened even with a appointment. Time wasted driving to and from the office. For a company with no regard for its customer's time, take your money elsewhere.My wife booked an appointment for her second shot on a Saturday, weeks in advance. Confirmation email received and even got a reminder email for her Saturday appointment. When we arrived, the doors were locked. She called the number and was answered by this groggy male voice. Apparently they are not opened on Saturday and there was an error in the system which allowed us to book the Saturday. However, our prior appointments were on a saturday so it appears that saturdays are by appointment only. Perhaps the someone overslept and use system error as an excuse, or there werent' enough appointments to warrant an a nurse?Regardless, for a company which has zero regards for its customer's time, I will happily take my money else where.

Quite possibly the most seamless clinic experience I've ever had. Jessica was well prepared with my travel itinerary and educated me well on the vaccinations I was taking and helped me to be at ease with the entire process. 5 stars all the way. For any medical advice and/or vaccinations for travel, this is the place to go.

We had a very positive experience at Passport Health. They were kind, knowledgeable, helpful and provided us with information on cost effective solutions, OHIP covered options as well as what was common practice by other travellers. Highly recommend.

Nurse Mary Ellen did a fantastic job at preparing me for my trip to Vietnam. When I arrived she had all the info I needed to decide which travel immunizations I could decide on.After going over all the recommendations with her, we were able to confirm with my benefits plan that I was all covered. Mary Ellen gave me all the info I needed to check with my benefits company which made it super easy.She has been extremely helpful, and professional from getting all the info ready, to helping me book follow up appointments and to administering the immunizations.Not to mention she went out of her way to book me in the following weekend so I could make the deadline before my trip. She really puts in the dedication to make sure her patients are getting the proper care and I will definitely be back next time I need to get immunized.

Our experience was overall very positive.We would recommend setting up an appointment with Passport Health once you know your destination as some series of vaccinations need to be taken well in advance. This was our experience we found out.Our nurse Mary Ellen was absolutely patient, knowledgeable and a true professional. All her recommendations were sound and we felt very confident in her care. She also gave painless injections....a great asset I might add.Thank you Mary Ellen for taking wonderful care of us. tried booking but they told me its gonna be a full week wait to get an appointment...and they wanted to fleece me for $315 for a yellow fever shot...poor customer service and bloody expensive. stay away !
