Been eastlink customer for few years now, visited the store for the first time and the salesperson were awful. They have no idea how to deal as my order got stuck and kept saying they don’t know when it’s gonna be resolved after we “paid”. We calmly explained them that we understand it’s not their fault, but we need some kind of answers. They told us literally to buzz off and they have nothing to do and we should be waiting with no certainty. Defo gonna switch as I would rather spend couple extra bucks to get better services.

It's shocking that this company is allowed to run communications infrastructure. They are astonishingly bad at running their network.

I have never seen such Great service. The Store manager,Alex has very kind nature and he is polite person. He always ready to solve customers problems with great effort. This is the best store in Halifax that I have ever visited.I bought Samsung Galaxy s23.

Fyi, I am reviewing the location and staff, not the telecom service…Not too bad of an experience. For personal attachment reasons, we wanted to use a non-recommended phone and had some difficulties at the counter with this. I have worked in telecom (technical) in the past and I also conferred with two P.Engs with knowledge of the system. I understood that it would work, despite some network limitations.On the third visit, armed with documentation, I ended up working with Brandon, who understood my logic and was amenable to working things out. He repeated the potential issues, but framed them as caveats, not as something doctrinal. I appreciated his taking the extra steps to think through the nature of the service and his having the social wherewithal to reach towards understanding. This is a kid with a future.The phone works very well, btw!Note: As of Autumn 2022 they have changed locations to the opposite end of the mall floor, close to the Appah Stah.

Door to door guy came with a great offer for internet and cell. I signed up but had to go in person to pick up new SIM. Store tells me ONLY PHONES SOLD BY THEM are allowed, blames the door to door guy as being 3d party and not knowing. I call up the salesman and he KNEW but FORGOT TO TELL ME. Waste of time. I asked them to cancel the install, they then decided to call me to remind me about the install. I tell the robot I don't want it, it puts me on a long hold line. They then called me later, trying to figure out what went wrong, and put me ON HOLD AGAIN. Few weeks go by and despite me repeatedly trying to cancel my order and NO NEW SERVICE BEING INSTALLED and they decide to get Bell and cancel my current service anyway. Now I don't have internet because of these guys!

Had no issues with Eastlink until I went to this store. We went to Mic Mac location first and the staff told us to come to this location as they had discounts for their ‘grand opening’. Staff said that there were no discounts available at all even though signs clearly said $200 bill credit.. Also was told that if I upgraded I would lose my current plan, was assured by staff at MicMac this would not be the case. Got angry with the uninterested staff and inconsistent messaging and switched to Telus. Two new phones and plans at Telus was $237/month vs $345 at Eastlink, ridiculous

Absolutely horrible customer service and rude retail agents. DO NOT ever switch to this company for a better price, IT IS NOT WORTH the hassle they will put you through. The Halifax Shopping Centre store specifically is the worst store out of all.

Huge selection of phones at great prices, especially when on sale. Plans are very good and staff are friendly and helpful. Been a customer for years and no plans on switching any time soon. I highly recommend Eastlink!
