I literally only made an email address so I could review this. This is THE WORST internet service I have ever used. It stops all the time. Can't have my phone using internet and the tv at the same time. Dont bother calling in, it won't help any. Completely UNRELIABLE. waste of money.

This company has been absolutely wonderful to us! Internet is fast and great! They have come out a few times to do some upgrades at no charge to ensure our wifi is working to the best.Absolute rave to Loraine for her kind help and ensuring we get the best possible service.

Since the recent upgrades this service has become very unreliable. It goes down on a frequent basis with no communication as to whether its on purpose for repairs or weather related. This was a very expensive install for the initial hook up and not a lot of support. We never no when it will come back on and it's usually on a Saturday when there's no one available to help. When the service gets better you will get a better review and possible reconnect for next year

EDIT* Jan 5, 2018 *Internet as been much better lately so I am editing this. Very infrequent for it to go down now and usually related to weather (ie. snowing very hard). We are much happier!Initial Post:Super unreliable internet. Skips between working great to dead all the time. If you phone in, they will not return your calls. Maybe because they know their quality is bad? Would not recommend.

This has been a good service for us. Our previous internet was unreliable and costly. Now we pay $35 a month less for double the GB. yes there is the odd outage but there was with the last provider too. Thank you for your hard work mybcdatacom!

I've never felt the need to review a company before but I'm making an exception for this outfit. This service has been completely unacceptable. Never before have I had to deal with a company that couldn't care less about their clients. We've been without internet for well over an month now. When we call to inquire, we're basically told that 'something is broken and we can't fix it now.' We live in an area where our options are limited and this company definitely takes advantage of that. All our neighbours here have the same negative opinion of MYBCDATA but we can't do anything about it... except warn other to steer clear.

If you are having trouble with your connection phone the Office for technical support. Your computer could have viruses, your router could be faulty. Many things can affect your connection and speed. 80% of the time connection and speed problems are due to the aforementioned problems . If you do not call for support you can not solve the problem.

I find when I call the office I get a good response from the repair service and within a few minutes of adjustment I am back up to speed. I need to keep in mind that this is mostly remote internet and remind myself that the service is so much better than the dial-up I originally knew here. It also helps to bear in mind that I am not in Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Calgary, Edmonton, etc... I get the peace of mind of living in a very quiet remote area and then realize that wireless in remote areas us usually effected by many hazardous communication issues.

5 Stars for Laraine and Stephen for the internet service they provide us with and their excellent response and support when challenges do pop up. I was very concerned about getting reliable access to high speed" internet where I live (Recline Ridge in Tappen)
