Extremely pleasant experience! I felt totally comfortable with regards to the level of cleanliness in the office. All measures were taken to make the visit fast, and stress free.I waited less than 5 mins in the waiting room and all staff were cheerful and pleasant! Metcalfe Street Dental offers the best dental service resource ever! From the moment you walk into, and are greeted in the Reception area, to the state-of-the-art, competent, pleasant treatment offered by top professionals in the field, to the attentive and caring follow up the day(s) after your treatment, I am completely impressed and satisfied with their excellent service. Judy has been my Dental Hygienist for many years and is consistently pleasant, accomplished and knowledgeable. This was my first appointment with Dr. Dalios, having been with Dr. Ross since 1984. There is always a degree of apprehension about a new practitioner in any field. in the extended procedure of obtaining two crowns, Dr. Dalios was consistently informative, congenial and I am sure very competent in this procedure. Also, he has the very latest in digital equipment, so that the procedure required only one visit. I was very pleasantly impressed.

Wasn't enough that I had the worst experience with their horrible, judgemental hygienist during a super vulnerable time, after which I left the office in tears... they actually called me back to harass me for not re-booking! Whoever came up with this unhinged re-call policy (which another poster also complained about), please rethink it; people can and do find other dentists/hygienists who don't treat them like human garbage! Also, pretty sure whoever called me was not a clinician, and was citing sensitive details from my chart - PHIPA violation much?

went in for an emergency appointment, they were so friendly and comforting since i struggle with horrible dental anxiety! quick, painless and easy to get my insurance to work etc. Thanks!

I am very happy with the Metcalfe Street DENTAL! They communicate well with you. The receptionist trys their best to answer your questions. The hygienists and dentists communicate well with the patients and they explain well what they are going to do with you and they really try to make you feel comfortable and secure before they start and throughout the procedures! I would recommend this place to anyone! :)

I booked an appointment with Metcalfe Street Dental in an emergency situation and was appreciative of them getting me in so quickly. I had an unexpected situation come up and I was about to lose access to my parents health insurance in about 2 weeks so I was glad to get it sorted.During my appointment, it was fine for the most part but the staff really gave off this snotty, better than everyone feeling. It was not a welcoming environment. After leaving there, I found myself very stress and anxious about returning to a dentist again given how the hygienist acted during my appointment. The dentist was never a stressful environment for me prior to this and now I wasn't sure if I would be able to go back to one.After having the emergency dealt with I never reached out again to book an appointment here, however they called fairly regularly to schedule one with me. After much exhaustion of dealing with these calls every few months, I eventually told the receptionist that I would not like to be contacted anymore as their hygienist had been so rude that it ended up giving my extreme stress and anxiety about going to the dentist. That even when I did get insurance again it took a while to bring myself to do it and specifically looked for places that dealt with those who are nervous about the dentist. She apologized and understood and said they would remove me.However, I have now gotten a letter from them indicating that it has been a while since my appointment and they would like to schedule one, or did I want to leave the practice. I was stunned as I had, through many tears, explained to the receptionist that I did not want to be contacted anymore and to remove me given the stress the hygienist put me under. The letter also stated to return the letter in the provided envelope but no envelope was provided. The audacity to expect me to fund mailing this letter back when I already explained what happened and was told I would be removed is ridiculous and speaks to the lack of professionalism at this place.Very rarely would I out right not recommend a place, or do so with the understanding the experiences may vary, but I would not recommend this place at all. As it has been some time maybe this specific hygienist has left, but I just wouldn't risk it.
