So very happy with our new custom kitchen! Thanks to Aaron for our new design and expertise. Aaron gave us what he promised. A couple little glitches but we have a beautiful kitchen and are so pleased with his product.Justin the installer was very professional and knowledgeable, did a excellent job.Brock the plumber, Yanni the electrician were also very professional and knowledgeable... Easy to have in the house got right to work.Catarqui Granite for the easy installation and granite countertops and sink.Dan at Sydenham Welding for the plates under the granite island counters so nobody bumps their knees. Thanks again for our beautiful kitchen.

Our experience in having the Primary Ensuite gutted and renovated in the fall of 2022. It is noted that Clearview has just undergone expansion and therefore, growing pains in their project management are to be expected. We were lead to believe that Aaron (owner) was a cabinet builder , however, it was only much later in the process (after signing contracts) that we were advised that cabinets are all prefab by another company. They they were not much better quality than those found at big box stores and arrived damaged, not even in a box or protective wrap. There were eventually glued and clamped (as it was just the cheap particle board that was broken). Not what we expected when spending around $40K for a bathroom.During initial meetings customer rep had no vision of what colours might work in our house nor did they offer any ideas on how to integrate the room with the feel of the home. It was totally our choice, which is very scary unless you are a decorator. Fortunately, my wife has a great sense of colour palates.Aaron was only ever seen twice more, and only when we started to complain about certain issues. Our primary contact (via their messaging app), was Danielle who was excellent. The trades sub-contracted by Clearview were outstanding, however, they were unaware work being done by other sub-contractors which lead to some confusion. This should not have occurred however Clearview did not have a 'hands-on' Project Manager that might manage the project. There was no Clearview representative checking on the quality of work being done by the sub-contractors, or the progress being made unless we complained, which we eventually ended up having to do in order to get anyone to show up. This lack of a hands on Project Manager, caused issues with measurements being incorrect, certain work not being done until it was too late and a great deal of customer involvement on decisions being made on the fly whenever a contractor was in the house. I had to be home every day for 8 weeks to ensure that the project continued on track.Clearview was very reasonable with payment schedules and communication through their “Co-Construction” portal, and this seemed to work well. Their subcontractors were respectful of our property, very good at what they did and genuinely nice people. There were only a few days that fell through the cracks when no one showed up when they were supposed to, but that contingency was built into the schedule. It would have been nice if they had told me that no one was going to be working, however, this information only seemed to arrive around 8:30 in the morning, when I would get a message that no one would be there. The 7 week projected timeline grew to almost 11 weeks. The bottom line for us is that Clearview was too “Hands Off” as a Contractor. There was no sense that a company was doing anything other than coordinating the schedule of the subcontractors. In my job as a Project Manager over the past 30 years, constant attention must be made from big picture to the details to ensure efficiency, reduce costs, and customer satisfaction. The subcontractors were very high quality, however, if they are not aligned correctly, mistakes will occur…and they did (cut pipes, damaged ceilings, scratched tiles that required replacement, sockets that had to be moved (at additional costs) etc.The end result was very good, however, had I not been here, it certainly would have looked different….and that is concerning…. for you as a potential client.Pro’sExcellent end productCompany was NO hassle about fixing things – they always “Made it Right”Con’sPoor communicationsComplete lack of project oversightPoor creative assistance during design phase.
