RONA VeRONA Hardware Limited

Don't like the one gray haired fellow who works the cash (Was just kinda rude even when i was buying over 100 bucks worth of fishing stuff) but typically the service is good. The selection of fishing stuff (Rods, lures, hooks, jigs) is actually pretty expansive for such a small store, and i usually find the exact item i'm looking for.

Chad and staff are always there to help out! A lot of times I find what I need at their store after looking at the big box stores first

We have always found staff to be helpful, ready to offer suggestions for any problem we've had, always friendly, ready to direct you to another supplier if they do not have what we need. They also have appliance repair, which we have found awesome.

Stopped in here, Tuesday, August 24th to buy some entry-level fishing gear. Younger guy with long hair working at the cash, came right over, explained what they had, googled some info for us. Showed us about the right type of line, knots, lures, etc. Super helpful, and resourceful. Will be back next visit.

This may be a Rona but it has kept its small town hardware feel. The staff are very polite and helpful. You will be hard pressed to find any place better than VeRona Rona to get what you need. Even if you are just passing through, you really need to stop in and browse a bit.

The staff member I encountered was sarcastic and kind of belittling. Not great service but they do have an ok selection for a small town hardware store.

Unfortunately an unpleasant experience. I purchased some items online from Rona (they weren't available in store) and long story short I had to return them as they didn't come with all required parts. I was given the option of returning in store, or packaging everything and shipping via Purolator. As they were larger items, I decided in store return would be the easiest for everyone involved.I came to Verona Rona and picked up a few items, then explained the situation and presented my authorized store return label, but was met by an angry (employee or manager or owner?) Who got pretty upset that I was trying to return an item that I purchased online because now he would be stuck dealing with the return". He said that I didn't even purchase that item at that store and now I'm making him deal with it and that I should go drive it into Kingston (35 mins away) and drop it off at Purolator instead
