Value Village

I Love Spending Time Here, I'm Here at Least Twice/Week.This Store always clean, items are always organized, displayed neatly, the staff are kind and always willing to help. Each time I come here and shop I've always enjoyed my experience here.

Went to the store the other day, very long lines at the checkout, the Manager Ashley (literally) yells at the staff to make everyone go through the self checkout “faster” everyone was just finishing up anyways, yet she’s leaning on the counter not working or helping at all. There were no actual tills open to help with the lines. What is the point of a manager if they are going to lean on a counter and yell at their employees but not help anyone else. She was useless. I’d highly recommend the store to evaluate her as someone in a management position. As someone who has worked in many management positions in customer service, it is your first priority to help the customer have a good experience and move them through quickly. You also would not yell at your staff across the tills you would walk up to them and talk to them quietly. She was not professional at all. I’m extremely disappointed, in how the store has been run with her working there. She should NOT be a manager if she doesn’t help anyone and just stands there.I will say that one of the workers in the donation centre was very helpful, friendly and helped me get a price for an item that didn’t have a price tag on it, that is great customer service and helpful!!

Staff are helpful. Product quality is falling and prices are rising. More care should be taken of the state of product being put on shelves. Broken and well used items are on the shelves.

Very expensive compared to other thrift stores. Vinyl record albums, compact discs and dvd's are not checked for quality as many are trashed / scratched beyond playable. Please donate elsewhere (church thrift store on church street) where prices are kept reasonable.

Best to hit this place on weekday mornings first thing.This location has a great selection, and some real good finds.But sadly like most value villages prices are getting out of hand.One item I found on kitchen wares was hilarious. The price of the silicon bake tray still with the tags from biancas on it, was value village tagged for more money than what it cost to buy brand new.

Staff is approachable and pleasant. Store is relatively clean and organized. Would and will return. Only reason my rating is not higher, prices. Some things are way way way over priced for a used donated item.

I've been going here for years and years and they have gotten much bolder for making things more expensive. It's almost like they've forgotten everything they receive is for free and yet they charge almost new in store prices for items. With the removal of change rooms it make purchasing clothes a hassle if they don't end up fitting and you only receive store credit for a return.While you can still find things for a good price it's made going to value village less enjoyable.

I was at this value village with my girlfriend and the manager Ashley was sitting there doing nothing yelling at the staff very loudly to “move the customers through self checkout quickly” everyone was paying at that point so there was no use in that comment. She continued to lean and do nothing. I found it highly unprofessional and disrespectful for a manager to do nothing and yell at the staff when she could’ve very well open a till or help people to move the customers through quicker. Very disappointing.

Great selection of kids items and women's aswell. Fantastic customer service from the cashier aswell . Oh and lalalove their beautiful reusable shopping bags!!!!! And very strong and durable they are too !!!

I used to love shopping at Value Village. Sadly, some of their prices have gone higher than regular retail prices in clothing. I go to see what's in their other aisles. Sometimes I find something cool.
