I live nearby. My main branch is on Gladwin Road. Any time i have gone to this branch i have returned extremely disappointed. I do not understand, what is the purpose of this branch, if they are going to run by Trainees only. Most of the times, the person dealing with you is not aware of simple procedures. I think in this day and age, banks should provide better customer service. I am seriously contemplating switching to a different bank after a decade.

Extremely poor service, uneducated staff. Staff do not even know how to do simple procedures and have very poor ability to speak and read English. Racial discrimination in the workplace, every single person who was not East Indian has “disappeared” after the new manager came in, (racist, I know it’s racism because the manager HATES white people and treats them like dirt) and it seems he’s just hired all East Indians who are not at all qualified at all. It’s very clear they are completely incompetent when they don’t even know how to cash a cheque. manager is a complete and absolute monster. I’m to the point I’m changing banks, this is my worst experience with Scotiabank and I’ve used them all my life. After this racism and rude horrible manager I won’t use Scotiabank anymore. I had this manager screaming and threatening me, after I explained to him his teller did not understand English nor did she know how to do simple things on the computer. This branch should be shut down, it is absolutely so horrible I will NEVER go here again.

Nelson Botelho, our mortgage specialist, ROCKS!. He helped my wife and I come up with a plan to pay our mortgage off years earlier than we would have ever expected. He is respectful, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. He returns calls, texts and emails promptly. Anyone interested in great service should look up Nelson. He did more for me in an hour or two than CIBC did in 32 years.

The service we received was unacceptable. Twice we made an appointment and arrived to find out there was no sign of the appointment in their system. When we finally did get to have our appointment, the whole thing was done wrong. Therefore we had to come back twice more. It has taken us 5 attempts to open a joint account. I would not recommend taking your banking here at all.

Horrible customer service by the branch supervisor or manager. I was discussing a situation with a clerk and voicing my concerns about misinformation on their end and this guy came up and not only rudely interrupted but was aggressive and had a very poor delivery in trying to inform me of their policy. Which the clerk had told me already. 1. I can hear 2. Don't lean over a barrier in a customer's personal space to try and shut them down. 3. Learn how to speak to people.
