Really helpful service over the phone, lower delivery fee than other places we checked out. Prompt delivery of the top soil. Milan was awesome to deal with. He was able to meet our requests efficiently and professionally, such a nice guy! We will definitely be back for mulch, garden mix, etc.

Excellent service from start to finish.We bought a small load of firewood from here (half a cord). We were treated like a valued customer despite the small size of our order. It seems like a minor thing, but the phone actually gets answered! No voicemail or text tag, just honest friendly information and service.They went above and beyond to get us the wood we needed. The price was more than fair, the product looks great and payment was easy. Absolutely recommended.I'm looking forward to getting soil and compost from them this spring.

When looking for soil do you pick a place because you don't want your car to get dirty or because you are getting a good product? Well High Line Environment isn't pretty but their soil selection and product quality are top shelf and reasonably priced. Their composted products are the best I've seen on Vancouver Island. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly, and quick to get you loaded and on your way. Whether you need a pickup or a truck load of soil, you will not be disappointed in the product that shows up. Totally satisfied with the service and materials I bought. Thank you.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Ordered mulch online, specified a time and left contact info and nothing happened - had a wasted day from work :( Many calls and texts were made and no responses until a few days later - was out of town - no cell range - why no call to let me know???? Then offered a discount to get delivery following week. Again no delivery - when I called I was told truck was broken down - why did I need to call?Purchased product from Jemico - better price and awesome surface.

We had excellent fast and personal service from both Milan and wood delivery person David. The wood is dry, ready to burn and it seemed a very generous cord-Thank you!. We will buy our wood from this company again, hopefully on a regular basis. After disappointing service from many other local suppliers we were very happy to actually speak with Milan, not just get a voicemail, and to have our delivery be seasoned, dry and arrive on the date promised. Super happy with all.

I received their garden soil, fir mulch, cedar mulch and road gravel today and was so happy with not only the level of customer service but also the quality of the material!! I’m so relieved to have found a great soil and mulch supplier AT LAST! Thank you so much for your help today. This is going to boost my garden game for sure this year!

The one star is for their ability to deliver the yards we asked for. The other missing stars are for the fact that we were told the driver would evaluate the site before the dump. Had he of done so our lawn and drive might have survived! He turned up reversed the load down hill and then wondered why his rear wheel drive truck got bogged down in our lawn and struggled to get out. The results of which are evident in the photos. Had he have taken the time to reverse up our driveway, getting out would have been easier using gravity plus momentum.He then preceded to get out of the truck and mumble something about they don't do local deliveries normally and attempted to increase the local delivery fee, which was agreed at a lower rate over the phone.If you are based in Cedar or the surrounding areas, I suggest another supplier unless you want bad customer service and an impromptu lawn remodel.

The owner, Milan, came out himself on a Saturday morning to deliver a dump truck load of mulch in a couple of different spots. He was careful about not hitting anything as he had to maneuver down a narrow alley. Milan was friendly and considerate.

I swear I left a review last year when I ordered 6 yards of the fish compost. So I'll do it again with today's review!Last year I ordered 6 yards of fish compost in February and it was delivered in 2 days! I've never had such great, fast service from any company ever. The compost was still a little smelly and hot"

Best soil products in town, my gardens have never looked so good. Top dressed my flower beds last spring with the dark mulch and no weeds to deal with all summer... Strongly recommend Milan to anyone looking for top quality soils and mulch!
