Lovely and helpful staff!!! Great service too. Unfortunately, they had an almost fully grown (12+) adult bearded dragon being housed in a 10 gallon tank with the wrong lighting. The poor thing is even showing that it's not happy as it's beard is fully black. Places that sell animals without knowing how to care for them will likely set up a new owner for failure by selling a stressed or sick pet not necessarily on purpose. We brought the size of tank to the staffs attention and the black beard

This is a very well kept and clean pet store I highly recommend this place, the owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about animals. He goes above and beyond for his customers and animals...will definitely be back!!

My absolute favourite pet store in Lindsay. The staff is always so kind and helpful. I have a lot of fish and wouldn’t go anywhere else for my supplies or questions. 10/10 recommend this store.

I've gotten most of my pets here, and I'm so happy I did. I've learned a lot about animals from them, and they have some good recommendations. They've teamed up with the human society to help rehome bunnys, non profit on their end. So sweet, and awesome they're doing that. That's how I got my newest bunny. All of the animals are well taken care of daily, they are very busy people so I understand cleaning can be pushed later in the day, as does in my home. I'm so thankful for Trent Pet. Thank you guys so much!

I love this Pet Store; I have been going here for years! They always have healthy and cute pets for sale; puppies, kittens, birds, ferrets, rabbits, etc.I bought my Netherland's Dwarf Rabbit here as well as my Quaker Parrot.

On two different occasions I've brought rats here(2 years apart) the first time they didn't know what the genders of the rats were and unfortunately had a male and female housed together. Luckily no accidental litters were had.A few months ago I got another rat. I won't say buy and she was clearly in need of rescuing. She was in an improper set up. Horrible ventilation and all alone. Rats are very social animals and shouldn't be alone.The night we got her I took her to the vet because she had a horrible cough and breathing issues. Luckily she is now safe and perfectly healthy.I did message what I'm assuming is the owner on Facebook and they put blame on the staff and the breeder. Taking no ownership themselves.I would not recommend buying pets here and we no longer support them for any of our pet needs.

I have dealt with Trent Pet consistently over the last five years and have always had great experiences. Staff is very knowledgeable and kind. They all, especially the owner, regularly go above and beyond to support me with my pets. The owner helped me in choosing the dog I currently have and was very understanding when I lost my dog before this one. They have gotten me hooked on fish and have supported me in starting small and now moving to more advanced tanks with different aquatic flora and fauna. I highly recommend this establishment which has all the perks from carrying all your pet essentials to being affordable, even throughout the changing economic times.

Had to wait 5 mins to be noticed that I was waiting at the counter to have the lady act like I didn’t need help. They are over priced.Your one staff member was too busy trying to sell a puppy that looked terrified and she kept reassuring the people that it would settle in to a new home in no time…. Thought selling puppies or any dogs in pet stores was banned in 2011..

Great staff, friendly and always available to help you with any questions. Bought my first Chihuahua from them. I'm truly excited to give this little guy the best forever home possible.
