Rustic Roadside Restaurant
Food was yummy - we got the breakfast poutine which had a delightful hollandaise, and the steak & eggs which was actually done rare (hard to get!). Service was fast, tables were clean. They had a highchair for our toddler. Very friendly. The cinnamon buns are so good. Will definitely come back when we are in the area!

Good prices, quick service and amazing food! Pie was excellent (nice pastry) and Roast Beef dinner was incredible value. Maggie (the owner) served our large group and was fun, attentive and kept coffee cups full! You have to go.

We decided to take a break from working at our Cottage and try out RRR. We had our nieces son Tyler with us. Owner was super friendly and not shy about what to expect. Tyler rated his dinner and experience 10 out of 10 when asked how he liked his meal from Maggie. They are Best Buddies now. At the end of the day, if a 6yr old likes it there and eats everything on his plate, what more is there to wish for. Clever placement of ice cream bar and sweets made us laugh 1/2 way through the meal when Tyler asked I wonder if they have dessert here ?". It was our first time

Rustic Roadside Restaurant
Our new favorite cottage country eatery! We shared the highly recommended coconut shrimp as an app and the fish and chips entree, both of which were perfectly done, crispy and flavourful. Best fish and chips in a long time! Ordered the same thing last week in another restaurant in the area, but we both sent them back. Not here, the food was delicious, Susan's service was excellent and the delightful and hard working owner and chef, Maggie, was rightfully proud of her establishment. It also took very little to convince us to take home her appetizing homemade Chelsea buns, eclair, squares and muffins...scrumptious! Thanks for a fun evening and an excellent meal...we will be back!!

I am extremely impressed with the food & service we received. We have eaten there twice for lunch and once for supper and I can highly recommend this restaurant. I also purchased a raisin pie & coconut cream pie for guest and we all raved about them. Purchasing two more this week.

Delicious fish and chips! The kids meals are super reasonably priced. We had the chicken fingers and fries and the vanilla ice cream was superb. Friendly, and kind staff. We will definitely be back again. We also felt safe dining in during the pandemic as they checked our vaccine passports prior to being seated. This was important to us.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The staff is wonderful, service is amazing. We went here for date night and ordered the roast beef dinner. The beef literally melts in your mouth, the gravy is rich and perfect, and the homemade mashed potatoes were so delicious. Everything was truly wonderful. We were stuffed and couldn't fit in desert, but it looked so delicious that we brought some treats home. Everything is homemade and just incredible. Definitely worth the short drive. We will absolutely be returning.

WORTH THE DETOUR, I PROMISE.Thanks for a great lunch stop. I honestly wasn't sure if we should make the detour off HWY 7 to come to this place but I'm super glad we did.Great prices, and more importantly, unreal service. This is what all restaurants should aspire to be.The food was delicious between a fish and chip order and a philly cheesesteak. Food was fast and hot. Highly recommend. Bonus leaning tower of burger.
