We made a stop by Port Alberni last summer just to see the place and we ended up here at the pier. We happen to see this little donut place and coffee shop that claims to be the best donuts in Vancouver Island....Fair enough, the donuts taste great. I love sweets and these ones are just right sweetness, just right dough at least for our selections as i ordered 1 one dozen, i let the staff assisting me choose her favourites among the donuts they sell. So yeah, i would definitely recommend to try their and have a coffee by the pier. While you enjoy snacking and watch nice sceneries around this area.

So much delicious selections. Great throwback to fresh daily donuts. Seniors can get a coffee and donut for 2$ on Wednesdays AMAZING! Staff are super easy going. Might be the best donuts Ive ever had. Thanks Donut shop. See you tomorrow :)

Go beyond the menu and order from the store display. Besides the classic menu items, we tried the mint oreo & lime coconutFreshly made, even better warmedPortions are just right size so you can try 2 different flavours without feeling too stuffedFairly priced donuts & drinksGreat service by the team! Keep it up!

If you love cake donuts you wont find better ones anywhere. Wow so fresh, soft, yummy. Not dry like so many.And friendly staff too. No wonder you see people walking out with boxes and boxes.

So many unique flavors freshly made & absolutely DELICIOUS! A must have when you visit Port Alberni! Janet - mom & owner starts her day at 6:30am. Donut seller is son Dave who greets everyone with such a warm welcome that we had to go back the very next day & double our order. Best donuts on the island!!!

Seriously the best donuts I’ve ever had. They are soft, not too sweet, not greasy and a wonderful selection of flavour options. Too bad this place is a plane ride away for me or i would be a regular customer.

Our family arrived a few minutes before they closed and we were pleasantly surprised to be able to purchase a dozen assorted donuts.We always go here while in Port Alberni and recommend you give it a try. Great service and great donuts.

Can’t drive through Port Alberni without a stop at The Donut Shop. So many yummy flavours to choose from it’s hard to decide - especially when your favourite is sold out :0( I do LOVE peanut butter however!!!!! Did you know you can order ahead (before noon day if) and they will set them aside for you! LOVE IT!!!They are very flavourful and fresh!I highly recommend the stop!

Worth the stop to get some donuts treat!Their sign labeled “the best donut on Vancouver island”. And it’s well-deserved absolutely!We got a half dozen- maple bacon, pineapple coconut, salty caramel, cinnamon sugar, maple walnut and almond almond- every flavour and every bites are delightful! Plus, the owner are extremely friendly and passionate! Highly recommended their donuts!

My absolute favorite doughnuts. I will drive an hour out of my way just to come here. I would move to Port Albernie just to come here every day for coffee and a doughnut. The staff is also friendly.
