Love walking around. I had fun seeing the simplicity of the place. And I had a gorgeous walk.Lots of beautiful shops. Different local restaurants. Support local!

A great old little town in Nanaimo. It has some shops, restaurants and liked the colors of the buildings.

I felt it was not worth it to go there and visit. Many shops are either closed or for sale. There is maybe one street that is fun to visit, but other than that, I was expecting more.

Not much left here. It was Sunday afternoon and the few shops there are were closed except for the tattoo shops. Don't go on a Sunday and really not much to go for at all.

There is a load of promotion for The Old City Quarter, but honestly 75% was closed down. One small section of newly renovated boutiques and that was it. Sadly I can't say I would recommend visiting.

Spent hours wandering the adorable streets of the old city quarter! The variety of shops coloring the lanes is something you can't skip checking out. Be sure to stop in at waffle magic for some of the best waffles and bubble tea I've had in a long time!

It was easy to park here, it had a relaxing ambience and would’ve loved to go inside the shops had it not been for my dog. Definitely a must see if you go to Nanaimo.

Nanaimo’s old city is a wonderland of art, beauty, romance, culture, and good food! We enjoy very much the great change of scenario from an ordinary big city to a tiny fancy tourist district!
