Do not shop here. They still sell small animals and fish. I boycott places such as these. Advice to management, stop selling living animals/fish and focus on the packaged goods. Those could use an upgrade on variety seeing as a lot of the dog treats are processed garbage.

Kimberley at the Petland in Vernon did a super job helping us stop the bleeding from a cut foot on our blue pacific parrotlet Bubbles. She taught us how to handle, clean and disinfect the wound and how to stop the bleeding. Also provided some advice on food alternatives and toys for our bird. We were very grateful for her help on a Sunday.

I used to love this place as a kid. I'd make my mom drive out here just so i could buy Their fish and other things for my fish all the way from kelowna, but it seems that they have drastically changed how they do business. The employees are still fine, but definitely not as passionate or knowledgeable as the old staff, at least in the fish department. they also have Drastically downsized their aquatics section, taking out tanks and moving the decor to shelves in their place.they do still have everything i was looking for, except for the fish, and are very Efficient workers but i only ever made the trip because it felt more Warm and friendly and Lively. at the end of the day though i do understand that aquatic pets are not as popular as dogs and cats and even small mammals, but it is sad to see a place i loved so much change in a way that doesn't serve me anymore

I absolutely love this pet store. They have what you need for almost any pet, they're very friendly and will take the time to answer any questions you have. I highly recommend them. Adding a bonus is that you can bring your animals, I just got my bearded dragon brought him in today. Their reptile manager, Mark, did an excellent job teaching me the basics yesterday. I could tell he was busy, but he still took about a half hour walking around answering my questions and giving me a lot of info

The store smells and looks really clean, which is nice. Fish seem to be impeccably cared for, as well as all the other pets there. I bet there is a company policy that requires employees to, like, over help, because every time I go in there, employees are right there, at the door, ready to over help me pick out, like, dog treats. Maybe some people like that level of service, and I do like it too if I need it when I'm buying a new pet, but in general I find it a bit much.

Went here today, FISH BUYERS BEWARE! noticed ick visibly in a few tanks, probably could be assumed many more are infected. If you do buy from here I would strongly suggest quarantining the new fish before introducing them to your tank.

Went in just to look around and we were met by a very helpful,friendly and knowledgeable guy who went above and beyond to answer our questions.

Clean store courtesious staff. No one was rushing customers and all staff took the time to answer questions and make certain we had everything we needed. I was able to order in some extra items the store did not have on site. Fair pricing
