Never expected this rude and ignorant attitude from a SHELL EMPLOYEEI GOT MY GAS FILLED AT THE STATION and came back to unit and requested to use restroomThe lady on counter was doing some paper work but instead she could gently inform me where is the key or give it by her selfShe pointed her Pen in a direction towards end of counter and said ‘THERE’I asked ‘sorry where?’She said ‘there behind’I asked ‘behind what?’‘Behind refrigerator’ she respondedJust one question from management:‘IS THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU ADVERTISE’

IMPORTANT All the employees I've encountered have been very nice and polite. The only reason I'm giving one star is to get attention. Tonight I filled up and needed to go to the counter for my receipt, no problem. I go to walk in and the poor girl working had magnetically locked the doors because of a suspicious man who had gone into the store, got his card declined, but then stayed in his vehicle at a pump station for over 2 hours. It's late, it's dark, and she was working all alone. In what world is it okay to have employees work at a gas station by themselves without any guarantee of security?! She had to call the police because her boss wouldn't answer and she had no one else to turn to. How hard is it to have a security car drive by once an hour with a call line when suspicious activity is happening? I know we live in Canada and gas stations are far underprotected but that doesnt mean nothing happens! Luckily this situation was minor and the guy had no ill intention but WHAT IF.Shell, protect the people you hire.

We purchased a vaporizer and left the building and then opened the package and it was empty. Probably the package for the one on display. We immediately went back inside to advise of our discovery. Raj, told us that it wasnt his problem. He said that because we opened the package we couldn't take it back. I understand this logic, I am a reasonable person. However, it is not acceptable to buy something and not get the product. He argued with us and then called someone and they argued with us. Honestly I understand their hesitation, I get that it's my word against theirs. However, it is not okay to spend $20 on a peice of cardboard and then be treated like a theif. That is not fair for me either. He said we should have opened it in front of him. Who thinks to so that honestly? I trust that when I buy something from Shell of all companies, that I will receive my product and with good customer service. I will never go here again. Be warned! Open anything you buy in front of them to ensure you are receiving the product.

Seriously need to change open hours sign it says 6am-10pm Have been there multiple times at 630am and the doors are locked

If I could rate 0 I would. Extremely unhelpful, lazy staff. Sold us an empty propane tank and even with receipt refused to fix the situation.

Came here at night to fill up. Employee was standing outside, and all the lights were on. I tried filling up, but the gas didn't come out. I asked the employee what the problem was, but he THEN informed me that the location was closed, and I could not get gas. This employee made zero effort to come tell me they were closed, and I could not fill up. This was after I entered my credit card and airmiles. Employee was wearing a shell jacket, and his work clothes. Pathetic, lazy, and incompetent staff, clearly. I expect more from Shell.

Clean and convenient, the staff are always very friendly.. Even had one of the gentlemen working here come give me a boost in-30. Refreshments selection could be better however their sandwiches are always fresh and the drinks are cold. Only real drawback of this location is no car wash and gas seems to cost a little more here.

The evening of Jan 26 2021, my husband was about to enter the store when he tripped on an extension cord that was plugged in to a car parked at the entrance. When he entered the store he notified the employee of what had happened and then the employee proceeded to get upset with him about tripping on the cord thinking his car was going to get damaged. He was being extremely rude not concerned if he was even hurt or not.There was no signage or any warning that a cord was hanging across the walkway. It is completely unsafe for the shells costumers to be walking over a cord at the entrance and should be addressed. It’s not like the cord was lying on the ground and was easy to step over with no problems but it was hanging off the ground across the sidewalk from the car to the store.

Such friendly and polite service was there today in the morning. The employee deserves 0 stars for being extremely rude.

Came here today ti buy a lotto ticket. The gentleman would not get off his phone. When I asked him for service he simply ignored me. Not only did I not buy gas but not a lotto ticket either. I own over 30 businesses here in edmonton and I promise you all 500 of my employees will not shop here either.If your going to come to Canada to start a great life and business, we expect respect and great customer service. I'll will go out if my way too see this shell placed in the hands of a responsible franchisee.See ya soon
