Recently bought a gallon of Sherwin-Williams ‘Emerald’ white semi-gloss to paint some new doors. Staff in the store were great but regrettably the paint does not meet our expectations. It has poor coverage on the primed doors and the finish looks quite patchy and inconsistent. Disappointing for what is supposed to be a ‘premium’ product.

I was a customer of General Paint since my first painting business was 18 years old. I've been shopping at Sherwin-Williams ever since they purchased General Paint. One could argue. I've been a customer for 25 years. Desiree, leaving this store was a huge loss for Sherwin-Williams. Product knowledge, customer support, color matching, everything has gone downhill. My girlfriend ordered paint on my account, I went to pick it up and staff had prepared a quart versus a gallon. I called my girlfriend asking why she ordered a quarter gallon of paint. She told me she tried to order a half gallon (which I know doesn't exist) and the staff member told her they could not do exactly a half, It would be a little under. A little under? There is a huge difference between a quarter gallon and a half gallon of paint. The sales rep then told me I owed $42 for this quarter gallon of paint (that's $168 dollars a gallon). I told him I did not want the paint and he told me I don't have an option as it's already been mixed. I reluctantly paid for the paint and it's the last time I will ever buy paint from Sherwin Williams. I have no interest in doing business where staff value their ego over my business.

The male worker on Wednesday June 14th needs to be reassessed by management on his customer service. Very bad attitude.

They hide behind the “company policy” for everything and ignore the customer satisfaction. If you need a real service, go somewhere else.
