Nice long trails surrounded with nature's true beauty. Visited this place last year toward the end of winter and this year in summer and both the trips were memorable. Walked the 7.6 KM long trail loop this time.

Great hidden location and trail. The trail is pretty long so bring a good friend and the time will fly by. Much to see along the way and some great spots on the trail that lead towards the reservoir with picnic tables or benches. Little fire pits all around. The water has tons of fish and looks like a great fishing spot if I was a fisher person. If you are going to try to paddle this lake, I suggest watching the wind speeds. It's very open and winds really touch down on this big open area.

A beautiful trail with nice winter views. Only walked about half the trail. There's a small parking lot too.

The trail is wonderful, it takes us between 2.5-3 hours to hike the whole thing. We often just do the western half as the scenery is a bit nicer. Most of the trail is shady with spots to rest and lots of photo ops. Also dog friendly, we take out dog here regularly and so do many other people. Only downside is the water gets a bit gross, especially around mid summer.

The Lion's Trail which goes around the reservoir is one of my favourite hikes in the region. It's lengthy at about 8km but not strenuous and there's a lot of variety. A warning though: in November 2021 some parts were quite muddy.

I visited on a weekday in the afternoon and it was very quiet. The pathway to trail was clear and it is a wonderful place to go for a walk and explore the nature.

Great walk. There are a few landmarks to see like the sugar bush, the dam, and quilt barn. From Nov 1-May 1 the gates are closed but not far to walk from the entrance parking lot. We took a few hours to hike this with a 5 year old and 8 year old.
