My friend and I went to this place from Vancouver. I bought a big bag of roasted sunflower seeds and vermicelli for the bulgur..and my friend bought the bulgur. We were surprised after we got home with the bad taste and bad smell. I searched for the production date and could not find it. I also noticed tamarind that expires in 2021. I did not buy it. I will never go to this place. . Note that most of the materials are expired and there are no prices on them

There are no price tags on any item. The owner appears to have different prices for different people. In Canada we are all equal! Everyone must be treated equally with kindness and respect. The young girl (daughter) was honest with the price, the owner (father) was not. I had high expectations from this Halal store but am disappointed. I drive to Surrey to buy Halal meat.

We drove from Chilliwack looking for jarred grape leaves. Found the selection of middle eastern foods was moderate but unfortunately with no prices on anything, and a language barrier, it was difficult to shop. The meat did look fresh, and there was limited frozen food supply. Only a few loaves of pita in the case. We purchased 100 grams of pine nuts and they were $10. Certainly would not have purchased had there been a price on item. I was hoping to be able to support this business but not worth the travel for us.
